The location is very strategic if you're traveling around the Tugu Putih Monument. A short walk takes you to Tugu Station or Malioboro. We know the hotel is old, and this is actually a plus for its vintage feel. Unfortunately, some corners and underpasses are still dirty, and the Wi-Fi is intermittent. Best of all, the staff is very smiling and helpful.

Hotel near Tugu, with good and comfortable facilities

We usually stay there because we have to catch a train the next day, because it's close to Tugu Station and the Tugu Monument, and there are lots of snacks. The water heater in the room doesn't always work, and the hotel is old, but the staff is quite helpful.

Overall, it's cool and impressive. It's close to the bustling Tugu area at night. The service is very friendly. The rooms are clean and smell great. I just hope the Wi-Fi coverage can be more evenly distributed in every room, but overall, it's really cool and will be my top choice for accommodation if I visit Yogyakarta again.
