We had a good stay at the hostel. There's an all day breakfast of coffee, bread and jam. Shampoo and shower gel were also available. Towels can be rented for 2 sgd. Room is secure. Situated in a safe area walking distance to bugis street. Downside were, the mixed bathroom and shower. Hopefully each cubicle can be fully enclosed so guests would enjoy their call of nature in the most quiet way.also, Some guests feel like they are in a hotel", they don't clean the bread crumbs around the toaster after eating, would leave the toilet without checking if they flushed the bowl completely-maybe if cubicles are enclosed, they would treat the bathroom as their own and won't feel they are in a common area. Some would try to shush and utter words when there's a bit of noise or lights have been turned on even when it's already 8 in the morning-they went to bed before us..Hope they realize that they are in a hostel and not a hotel. We've shown a few considerations to them, we do hope they would do the same because after all, it's been part of the house rules posted by the hostel.(earplugs and eye covers) Overall, it was a good experience. We'd still recommend staying in a hostel and highly recommend this hostel to others. Reception is always available on their specified time..
