Hotel is in a great location, was happy to be upgraded to a suite which was nice. The room was large and modern. Hotel is noisy with other guests but we are in the city so expected. Would stay again.

The room was spotless, the staff was great and rooms were large. I didn’t like the fact that it was an Amex building at first but that building was better located than the first building

Room and corridors no glecte

The room was too small. Two people could not be in it at the same time. No chair or desk. No place to relax. It was also so hot kept windows open and heat off in December but still hot

Glenn and Mike were both fantastic at breakfast. Glenn was full of sights and information, and Mike was just spot on pleasant. On our last day after check-out, Fredrico stood with us in the rain until we got a cab to the airport. It was a wonderful stay!

Stayed in the main building for four nights. The staff was friendly and the room was good. Didn’t have any issues while I was there. It is a basic room, nothing extravagant. It was in a great spot, within walking distance to pretty much everything.

My family and I spent time at your very nice hotel. Nice and clean rooms, Good breakfast and especially great staff. We were all very pleased to stay at your hotel. Hope to get back to you soon! Pat Kruse

Staff were lovely and keen to give recommendations. Hotel is in a good location and rooms were a good standard. You do need cash to pay the city taxes so just make sure you have a bit on arrival, they were fine with us paying it at checkout as we didn’t have cash when we first got there. Nice spot for a base.

Room smelled like sewer. Room was small. Outdated. Not like the pictures

Hotel 55 was a pretty decent stay. Upon arrival, I could tell that it was going to be warmer than I had anticipated for the entire trip. The heat was on and the daytime temperatures ranged from 65-70 degrees (Second week of November). I wanted to turn the individual heating/cooling unit down but my only options were up or off so I opted to turn it off. That was the best option considering the mold that was growing inside the unit after taking a closer look before checking out. When I opened the window, the temperature inside felt a lot better. Aside from that, the property appeared clean, had friendly staff, and a great breakfast menu. I enjoyed the location, as it was relatively close to everything. The only thing I would note is that during the day, it is difficult for a taxi or uber to pick you up due to heavy foot traffic so you may have to do a little walking to a less congested street to meet them.

Stef is one of the best people at 55 hotel. Loved the care and hospitality.
