Overall, this was a great stay,
Positives;
1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english.
2 - A very welcoming and friendly host.
3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility.
4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room.
5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site.
Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays);
1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side. Could do with a memory foam topper etc.
2 - The overrun on the bathroom extractor fan has a very long delay on switching off, which can be distracting when trying to sleep*.
3 - The grandfather clock in the entrance hall chimes every hour, on the hour, which is very audible in the rooms upstairs (original thin farmhouse doors).
4 - No method of locking the door, which could allow an opportunity for other guests to enter room while absent/touring area.
