This property is off the “beaten path” but well worth the trip and only 20-30 min outside of Arusha. The property was clean, reasonably priced, quiet, and very courteous staff members. I arrived late night (after 9pm) and staff was available and willing to prepare dinner. On a clear day you may catch a glimpse of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro side by side…..amazing! The rooms were spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is tucked away and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great to relax in.

My husband & I stayed here before our safari started. If I had known about this place, I would have stayed here at least 2 nights so I could take advantage of the activities they offer, such as touring an organic coffee farm. What a pleasant surprise this lodge was! It's not right on the main road but is up towards the mountain a couple km so it is gorgeous and peaceful. The staff is incredible helpful but in a good way - not over the top. Breakfast was included and cooked to order. More than we could eat – fruit, bread, eggs, coffee – and was delicious. The lodge is relatively new and in pristine condition. Also, someone from the lodge picked us up from the airport even though our plane didn’t arrive until midnight. The next night we stayed in central Arusha and it was pretty bad compared to our stay at Two Mountains Lodge. Central Arusha is crowded, unattractive and crazy whereas Two Mountains is gorgeous and tranquil. I realize this sounds like one of those "friends and family" reviews but it is absolutely not. I was only in the Arusha area 2 nights before my safari started. Anyway, I highly recommend staying here before your safari and booking an extra night.
