Everyone that works here is WONDERFUL. the rooms left a little to be desired but other than that not many complaints. There is a museum on site that has many artifacts and there is also a gift shop where you can buy real pirate gold! The only thing that I didn’t like was that the bar at the pool did not do room charges, I was told it was separate from the hotel. Also this hotel is situated on top of a hill so transportation is a must!

Love that the pool and bar area are within sight and connected. Entertainment perfect Like that the pool stays open late. Many people travel late and the pool being opened is a bonus. My fav place to stay on STT

The check in was a breeze. We were tired and weary after missing the connecting flight to St. Thomas. Do not recalled the name of the check in girl but, she showed us empathy and explained the hotel rules in a concise and clear voice making the process uncomplicated. However, one morning the coffee pot was running low on coffee, when inquired for more coffee the attendant at that time told me to tilt the coffee pot. Not happy with her answer. Overall we were happy with the surroundings and our room cleanliness.

Front desk not friendly, didn’t feel welcomed. Not enough waitstaff for restaurants, the servers were handling double what they should have but doing an excellent job considering. Seems to be a lack of management in general. We were there with kids, they had no ice cream. Not at the restaurant, not at the store. Didn’t seem like they cared. But all in all, the grounds were well manicured, the tower artifacts were really cool , with the diver Sean was awesome. The hotel is still a competitive price for the grounds, if they could get the hospitality thing down, we probably would go back.

We stayed here twice and each room was comfortable, modern and clean. Although one was much smaller than the other. You can walk to town from here but it's a big hill to get back up to the hotel. I'd recommend the Hilltop Villas. They're right next to the Castle Villas but offer a better view.

The front desk staff was extremely rude. We showed up to check in, and it turned out there was some miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel, so our payment went through but our room was not booked. However, the guy at the front desk acted like it was somehow our fault that this was happening and was taking out his frustration/confusion on us. We had to get the manager involved, and after almost an hour of waiting, they were able to get us a room. A complementary upgrade would've been nice, or at least a sincere apology would've been acceptable, but the guy was trying to brush it off by saying that there's been a glitch and was blaming Expedia. The rudeness continued throughout our stay. When we called for towel change service for the second time because it was taking really long, the front desk responded with an attitude and annoyance. The final straw was when we called to ask if it was possible by any chance to check out a bit later. I remember the interaction vividly. I called and asked if it's possible to check out 15 minutes later, and the person responded "yes, once you check out...". I was confused because that response didn't make any sense. I thought maybe they were trying to follow up and say something and the call connection was bad, so I asked again. The person basically yelled at with "YES, once you check out". At that point I assumed it was a yes, but we just rushed out on time just to be safe because their customer service was so bad

Our room was clean and updated, property grounds well taken care off, pool area and bar clean and maintained. Great location, though not very walkable as it’s up on a really steep hill, so rental car or a cab is recommended. Also, there are lots of stairs, so It could be challenging for senior or disabled citizens, the only complaint we have about the hotel is how unfriendly the staff was, especially at the front desk and the person at the entrance of the hotel (? Bell man?). There was never “good morning” or any greeting or acknowledgement for that matter, not even “you are welcome” from the staff members. We definitely felt like we were a nuisance to Them. The pool bar and restaurant staff were delightful though.

I was surprised that they do not provide housekeeping. Going to the beach daily, it would be nice to get clean sheets. Be aware that taxis are incredibly expensive; although the city is only a short walk, it requires a very steep walk back to the hotel.
