The hotel staff all speak English fluently. The hotel is close to Kyoto Station. I was impressed with the communal area, which can be used for relaxing, watching movies, and drinking coffee or tea. There's a microwave and coin-operated washing machine and dryer downstairs.

No need to worry if you can't speak Japanese, because most of the staff are foreigners, so they are able to speak in English. You can even cook your meal in this hotel since they have a public kitchen in the basement, and you can use it freely. You can wash your clothes also in the basement with their coin washing machine. Definitely will stay in Tune Stay Kyoto if we visit Kyoto in the future.

The hotel staff is very friendly, professional and very helpful. The hotel facilities are very complete, and the hotel atmosphere is very homey, plus the hotel is close to the convenience store and there are many dining options in the area. Adding to the memorable experience during a 3 day 2 night stay at Tune Stay Kyoto. Hopefully I can come back here again when on vacation to Kyoto.

No cleaning service, no personal slippers (although we can use shared slippers but I think that's gross, there's shared pillow too which I won't take it either), the room was too small. The good part is the library is beautiful.
