Great centralized location. Ultra clean hotel with great amenities and features. I would say the main issues were having only 3 elevators hardly met the demands of the people. There more than a few times where I waited over 3 minutes for an elevator and a few times I had to wait for the next elevator. Also they need a few more wash machine and dryer. I stood in line for the next washing machine for over 2 hours. Shin-shigai over all needs a makeover. It looks dirty, dark and unsafe, but the hotel itself is beautiful inside.

Location is great for castle and shopping. Clean and quiet and enjoyed the public bath.

Property js centrally located.. while rooms are quite small, it is well designed with all amenities. Breakfast spread was unexpectedly good.

The room is tiny but well thought out and you don’t spend much time in the room anyways! The amazing breakfast buffet more than makes up for it! The breakfast had such a huge selection-even after 5 days, it was never boring. The only thing I would add is more fruit!

Really impressed by this hotel. Room is small but is well thought out. #1 is having under bed storage space - it's really disappointing when this isn't available in a small room, so I was happy to see it here. Bathroom is a little smaller with no tub (which I don't need) but doesn't feel cramped because the sink is outside the bathroom. There are a number of super useful little shelves. The TV can't be moved so it's difficult to access the HDMI port on the back but then I noticed there is an HDMI port under the TV in wall unit! Wow, I was so happy! Also the TV is mounted on a swing panel for angle adjustment. The chair has a back and is comfortable. There's no wall desk counter, instead a round table which could be moved which was adequate for me. Also the bathroom floor is level with the room floor which is great. It's a well thought out room but I had one problem. For some reason the blackout curtain rail doesn't extend to the window edge! (It really should extend beyond) So it won't be able to block the light as planned but luckily I had some tape and was able to put up the curtain the last inch to block the morning light. Location in the shopping arcade just across the street from Sakuramachi and walking distance to the castle is suberb, and yet the room is quiet. Breakfast looked pretty good but I did not opt for it. I really liked stairway access so don't have to wait for the elevator every time.

Comfortable stay in this clean hotel that serves great Kumamoto-style buffet breakfast. However, the bathroom vanity (sink and mirror) is outside the toilet, facing the twin beds. No on-site parking but you can easily park at the underground carpark that’s just a traffic light away from the hotel at a reasonable rate.

Un hôtel « business » vraiment très bon marché avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Les chambres sont petites mais très bien aménagées. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et très bon. Je recommande à 100%.

The hotel was conveniently located for me, as there is a huge bus station nearby with just 5 mins of walk. A dozen of restaurants are nearby and there are 2 arcade game centres just around the corner. The public bath was not as good as i expected and it was always crowded. I didnt use it as much but i think it could still be a good experience if you are visiting japan for the first time. I adore the resting area outside of the public bath. The area is equipped with microwave, small tables and seats. I bought food from nearby convenient stores and ate breakfast there daily. The room was on the larger than i expected. I was able to place my luggage on the table when i tidied my stuff. I was overall happy with my stay.
