An oasis of tranquility and authentic Alpine architecture in a very busy touristy town. Super great owners and staff, spotless clean, short easy walk to town and the lake, quiet and peaceful. If you like the typical modern, minimalist, ugly hotel, don't book here, it's the opposite! Homey, comfortable, relaxed. Great base to explore the natural beauty. Don't miss the short side trip to Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj for postcard views and maybe less crowds than Bled.

Had a fantastic stay at this immaculately clean pension. We had a room on the 1st floor which was very nice and it had a balcony. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and eggs cooked to order. Peter was a charming host and was very informative and was glad to help with travel plans. The location was slightly back from the lake and perfect.

This is a great place to stay close to the town centre , walking distance to lake and all amenities around this location , rooms are very clean and comfortable breakfast is fantastic sets you up for the day , the owners are so helpful giving you a very good brief to where everything is .

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Peter. He was so helpful and kind and gave us a good overview of the area and points of interest. We had an attic room, and it was spectacular. Very nicely done and very clean. We were close to everything! We hiked, biked, took the Pletna boat to the island. Everything was so close. Even though the castle looks far away, it was only about 20-25 minutes to walk up to it. The outside is well maintained and I saw Peter and another lady working outside pruning bushes and keeping the property immaculate. You can tell they really care about this place. The breakfasts were amazing too. There was a great selections of meats, breads, fruits, pastries, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, etc. All of it was nicely laid out and tasted great. I can’t recommend this place enough. If I’m lucky to travel to Bled again, I’m just going to book this place straight away without looking elsewhere. You can’t go wrong with this lovely bed and breakfast.

Had an attic room, need to watch your head, but knew that going in. The room & bathroom were both great, very clean & spacious. Great location. Breakfast was a great way to start the day, many options, fresh bread. TV in room worked well. Only drawback were the pillows, subpar, very hard.

Really great place to stay the location is only a 5-minute walk from the lake. Super quiet neighborhood and comfortable room. Very nice host who were extremely helpful with planning day trips in the area. Very good breakfast with a nice variety of choices. The TV even had several English stations so you can keep on top of the news. Would definitely stay here again

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay. The room and entire property were immaculate and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location was convenient and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

A most fantastic stay at Penzion Kaps. Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Welcome and check in was helpful with a lot of information given about the area, where to go and what to eat. Breakfast was delicious - lots of choice with local delicacies and freshly cooked. In a quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the lake. Highly recommend

Cooked to order eggs and a variety of other items. Peter, the owner and his wife were excellent hosts with good information. The room was clean and comfortable. Also it's just a short walk into town.

Hardworking staff keep the place spotless. Everything we saw was coordinated and in good repair. Great location, nice breakfast, accommodating owners who clearly want their guests to be well satisfied. Outstanding guesthouse.

Great people who are exceptionally helpful, welcoming and very professional. Its obvious that real care is taken over the amenity and cleanliness of the entire guesthouse including the rooms which are immaculate.

Excellent experience

I travelled for 7+ weeks through 10 countries and this was one of my favorites places to stay on the whole trip. I loved being up on the top floor in a huge room built into the vaulted ceiling. The detailing of the woodwork in the room and throughout the hotel is beautiful! And the owners are fantastic! So friendly and helpful! Breakfast every morning was wonderful, with lots of food options, and on the morning I had to get up early to go on a day trip to Triglav National Park, the owner went above and beyond to make breakfast for me -- even before the official time that breakfast started. The location in Lake Bled is nice as well -- only about a 5 minute walk down to the lake and shopping / dining options. If you take the bus, be sure to get off at the stop before the bus station -- this will save you about 10 minutes of walking and be less "up and down" (the town is rather hilly). I highly recommend this wonderful property!
