Pool was nice and clean. Transportation is limited and it’s approx a 7 min walk to the heart of the strip. Room was basic but had good air conditioning. The water in the shower takes a very long time to heat up a there was a line in the middle of the TV where it needs repair. Housekeeping came everyday and overall staff was excellent.

The staff was extremely rude, except one worker, room water temperature did not get hot.. toilet was stopped up and the door to the room did not lock… i complained every night they didn’t move me until last night

Had an awesome stay with the staff at splash inn! I originally booked the West end divers resort up the street and it was a really nice place with the pool but I'm getting a little older and up and down. Those steps was a bit much for me so they upgraded me to to a spot at splash inn. Shout out to Ezekiel in the kitchen for the great food! Richard, working the desk and Ramiro for translating are very important business transaction for me while I was there. I was there on business so I didn't get to snorkel or do anything fun but this day itself was excellent

The diveing and snorkeling options are fairly priced. Being centrally located on the strip makes walking everywhere you want to go a breeze. The staff was beyond friendly. My biggest regret was not being able to stay a little longer.

Terrible mattress, old sink , very cheap furniture and bad looking place . Very far away from what they sell you when you look their website. No even close what you were expecting !!!

Hotel was far from the main road on a gravel street. Long walk. Also the stairs were uneven and marble so slippery when wet. The rooms only had sliding glass doors that were difficult to close and a few times the maids left it unlocked . There is no soap dish or rack in the shower so you have to put the soap on the floor. Air conditioning worked well . Tv only had two English channels . Safe was not nailed or secured down. Staff was very nice .

Wifi was down most of the time, cold water shower 2 days in a row at the end of our stay. Ok room, nothing extta and smelled moldy.

Splash Inn dive resort and West end dive resort are same owners. I got to stay at both locations. Both excellent and easy to get to everything walking. But what really makes both these places so special is the warm and friendly staff. They talk to everyone with their first names and really it felt like being with a big family. The dive shop is right beside Splash Inn and you just walk across the street to the boats to head out for your diving or snorkeling. My brother has been going to Roatán for 30 years and diving with Splash inn. I cannot recommend this place enough. Met the owners Paulo and his wife and Rafa who were all so nice. Daryl who works at front reception always smiling and so awesome helping me out with tour ideas and Christopher at the dive shop was so helpful getting me fitted with my dive equipment and really had a great time diving with our divemaster Stirling. I was feeling a bit anxious at the beginning but I buddied with him and made me feel at ease. So 10 stars to the whole team. It was my first visit and they certainly helped to make it fabulous!!

Nice property very clean. Not far from the restaurant strip BUT. 43 stairs to our room. Stayed one night so ok because staff helped lug up suitcases. Would not have been able to do those stairs daily. For those who don’t mind the stairs it’s a nice place with nice pool

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay at West End Dive Resort. I however had an unpleasant experience at the pool. It is important to note that the hotel is located within a private community. My daughter and I went to the pool and I asked a woman if she was using a lounge chair. She immediately asked me if I was staying at the resort. I responded "yes" and then inquired why she would ask such a thing. She said that people sneak onto the property and have been instructed by the owner to ask people if they stay there. She then said she lives in the private community and pays $900 to have access to the pool. My daughter and I were in our swimsuits and walked down the exterior steps from our room that overlooks the pool. Why would anyone not think we're staying there?? This woman clearly acted on her implicit bias based on our ethnic background. I think the owner asking residents to the police the pool is a big mistep. This experience made me feel uncomfortable and while I plan on returning to Roatan, I will not be returning to The West End Dive Resort.

Great place

We had a great stay here and a lovely dive with the dive centre. Special shout out to Michael for his excellent service and the rest of the staff was brilliant too. 10/10 would recommend.
