Excellent customer service and facilities. The neighborhood is just a little sketchy.

Love the hotel. Big room with a view on the square. We stayed to nights and found the location perfect for walking or taking an Uber. Water and tea available in the lobby.

The hotel is very nice with very friendly staff, but plenty of prostitutes up and down the street in front of the hotel.

An interesting hotel in a great location within walking distance of all the sites in the old town. A beautiful courtyard for relaxing in and generous sized rooms. Friendly helpful staff.

The room was large, the bed was king and firm, the daily maid device was excellent, the direct tv service was great, the breakfast was complete with three types of eggs to choose from, with fresh juice, coffee or tea, and three slices of toast with butter and jelly.

Super cool building, friendly and helpful staff (thank you Ruben!) and nice breakfast. Staying in a bit of history. Only downside is the sound of traffic outside, but part of being in Quito... and it did stop late at night. Would stay again.

The energy was very low in the hotel. There was no water glasses in the rooms and no ice. Also even though there was a coffee pot in the courtyard near the desk it never had any coffee. The breakfast was nothing special but the rooms were comfortable and nice. The location is ideal but a little scary after dark.

The hotel has large bedrooms and a lovely inner courtyard. It was clean and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was excellent and the location is fabulous for walking to all the sites in the old town.

Helpful staff, charming hotel with lovely central covered courtyard & breakfast room on top floor. Spacious rooms but the windows of rooms face out onto the courtyard so mine was a little noisy as it was near reception. Free drinking water, tea & coffee but no lift. Easy walk to city centre.

I had a wonderful two night stay here. I used there pickup service from the airport with no issues even though I was delayed by two hours. Even when I arrived at 3am someone was there to greet me at the front desk. Breakfast was great….juice, choice of eggs, bread and fruit. Had filtered water in the lobby for free. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m in Quito.

Hotel Casa Montero is a great place to stay when travelling to Quito. Located in a historical part, everything close by, in walking distance ( market, plazza, churches). Highly recommended to stay. Alexander is a great person and was ready to help with everything.

This hotel is wonderful and such a great value. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we went to the hotel intending to just drop off our luggage. Instead, they checked us in right away, no questions asked. We had a standard room facing the plaza with a balcony. The hotel is a remodeled colonial home and has amazing historical charm. It’s also very close to Calle de la Ronda and other major sites in the historic center of the city. Their free breakfast is also wonderful! Fresh fruit, juice, jam, and toast with two eggs however you want them booked. So happy we stayed here.
