I booked the double room with balcony on upper floor. Was told it was not available. I instead got single bed no balcony bottom floor.

On that day, we arrived at Kotor 2:30PM. One of us had slipped and broken his leg, so we started Kotor on 5:00PM. We would like to go to Mostar on that day, but we do not know that it is easy to pass border between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. So we decide to reserve hotel to stay that night after we passed border. But Wi-Fi is not useful at the countryside in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I reserved this Guesthouse on 7:30PM by Hotel's.com and call to owner. When we(four mans and one injured) arrived at this Guesthouse on 8:30PM, woman owner welcomed us very much even if we arrived too late. At first, we were ushered 6 beds room like youth hostel (79 Euro with breakfast) which I reserved, after that owner's daughter recommend us a little expensive high grade room. The room which located on 3rd floor was very big, nice and comfortable. But it is difficult for injured man to step up to 3rd floor. Kind owner recommend us to go to restaurant near famous bridge, and she said she can call a taxi. But it is very difficult to step down for injured man, so we bought dinner at food shop or take out restaurant and had a dinner at that room. As a result of negotiation, room charge with breakfast became 135 euro. This charge is reasonable, on check out time, one of us handed 150 (50×3) euro to her. She said "thank you" with a very friendly smile, and change which we expect was not return.

The guesthouse is a good choice if you simply want to have a place to stay for a few nights in Mostar. It is located conveniently near the old town, so you can reach Stari Most in less than 15 minutes by foot. We had an apartment that sleeps four persons. The rooms are simple but very clean and offer basic amenities like a kitchenette with cooker and stove, as well as a spacious bathroom. As a plus, you get A/C for hot days and an electric heater for the cold season. The owner is a very friendly lady who made checking in and out a pleasantly uncomplicated matter. If you are looking for a room to mostly sleep in while you spend time in Mostar, I can definitely recommend Guesthouse Sanja.
