This room is valuable to stay. Very close to site seeing spots in Ljubljana. And the staff are friendly. I would love to stay again. Thank you.

Area affordable good place to stay

I can’t believe Hotels.com is even affiliated with this place. I hate to be blunt, but this place is like a little dump. Please don’t waste your money. It’s conveniently located but it’s a very old, outdated property and nothing is appealing about it. The rooms are drab, the beds are not comfortable, the fridge didn’t work and thank God I was there only one night. The only thing I can say good about it is the girl at check in was really nice. Other than that this place is not an appealing place to stay.

Comfortable and convenient

Location is amazing with a view of Dragon Bridge. Unfortunately that does mean that you may hear more people (often drunk) in the wee hours of the morning. Room was small-ish but comfortable and clean. My only big issue is the fact that you are essentially staying in a staff-less series of rooms, so don't be expecting a typical hotel stay. If you have questions or issues you have to go down the street to H2O Hostel.

Excellent central location, walkable distance to train/bus station. Friendly and accommodating staff. No complaints whatsoever!

Small but clean and a breathtaking view of the river/castle/dragon bridge. Right in the center of the restaurant/historic area.

Like some traveler says the bathroom was smelly, it was a bit smelly. But no problem if you close the bathroom door. The property is in the old town but it wasn’t so noisy in the night on weekdays.

Bedroom area was clean, but it appears staff left before finishing cleaning bathroom. The sink area has puddle of dirty water and a dirty towel left in shower. The rest appear clean. Hotel requested payment in cash, which is an inconvenience as most places will take card so one is not used to carry too much cash.

It was ok, I had a minor incident when I checked in because they said their credit card machine was broken and I had to pay by cash, which was not stated when I made the reservation, they accepted my credit card payment in the end. The room was ok and the location was perfect, the one issue that bothered me the most that it was not that clean, I found hair on the sink and a hair ball next to the bathroom door. Also, the walls were super dirty.

The parking situation is ludicrous. I spent literally 3 hours dealing with finding a spot, moving my car, walking to and from the car to the hotel nearly half a mile each way, and then walking to move the car again before getting ticketed in the morning. It’s not Cha Cha Room’s fault, but just don’t stay in downtown Ljubljana unless your hotel has a parking situation that doesn’t take practically all your time and energy to deal with. On top of that, my room was uncomfortably hot literally the entire night. They give you a fan, since there’s no AC, but I had that stupid thing blowing at full blast all night with the window wide open and the room never got cool. Then, at 4am, the garbage man wakes me right outside my open window as I’m sweltering the night away. I’m not sure I slept at all, then had to go move my car before 7 because of the stupid parking situation! I hate giving bad reviews, but I just can’t recommend this place.

The room was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Everything seemed brand new and done with taste. So was the service, really nice and helpful person at the reception.
