The booking I had requested to be changed to 31 December was booked for 31 January and we had no accommodation for the evening of the 31 December. This I discovered when I informed the person who works for or owns the lodge on the 31st of December that we would see him that evening. I am still waiting for my refund as he then informed us he is fully booked so can no longer assist us. He also said it was my responsibility to check the invoice to make sure he had put the correct date on it even though in my message to him I clearly stated the 31st December.

The rooms are good and they have a good breakfast for the prices that you pay. The stuff is not that good. Constantly electricity down.

Highly recommend staying here! Staying at Nkhane was a pleasure! You walk in to a beautiful pool complex which is inviting and well maintained, through to the bar and lounge area which has smiling staff who are so welcoming you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them - even with having booked only five minutes before arriving! The room was clean and comfortable- especially with the air con which felt like luxury! Breakfast in the morning was a bonus, with individually prepared eggs to order which were delicious! We were sad to leave and would definitely stay again.

Just a bit noisy over the weekend. Overall lovely stay. 'Breakfast lady' was super friendly.

The property itself was very cute, however they had a massive party (music playing so loud that my windows were vibrating) starting at 4pm (could have been earlier than that, but we were at the beach) and going until after we left the next day at 9am.
