It's truly a great place for couples and groups, so many amazing activities to do, highly recommend.

The room was spotless, staff very kind and helpful and cooperative !!! The food was good. The environment is wonderful, interesting excursions. You need a 4WD to get to the location !!

We enjoyed the seclusion and views of the lake. Morning boat trip to Nyombe swamp was fabulous - great to set off in mist and see sun rising then clear- good birds to see in swamp area Food good and service excellent Intermittent electricity in room bit frustrating and need to run shower for 10 minutes before any hot water. Wi-Fi only in main reception / restaurant area

The property was in a very relaxing area (once you get there! The roads are awful.) Beautiful Lake! The lodging was adequate and it really wouldn’t take a lot to make the rooms stunning. Little things like outlets in weird places, small holes in the walls from moving outlets, bathroom mirror too low to be useful. What WAS amazing about this place was the restaurant! Incredible food! We were greeted upon arrival with hot towels, popcorn, juice and cookies. Another huge asset was the staff! Everyone was so sweet! The chef even baked my husband a birthday cake. One big issue we had though was the credit card machine wasn’t working when we checked out! The room had been previously paid for through Expedia. We had food and drink bills for 4 people for 3 days as well as 2 boat rentals! We were panicking when we were told that we would have to pay cash at check out. So I guess if you stay there, take cash along! We weren’t prepared for that, it left us pretty short on cash.
