Major problem: dirty (brown!) water flowing in the sink and the shower. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay. Shocked and disappointed that the Hotel Management is not acknowledging the health risks for its customers. I sent an email to the owner, Mme Françoise Puene (Mamy) Nyanga. She did not respond. I would not go back to Hotel Franco Yaoundé or recommend the to anyone else. Nice staff. All around bad experience.

This hotel should be written off Hotels.com the staff are very bad and the reception for checking non professional the hotel payment was paid in full and they kept telling my boyfriend that they do not accept overseas payment online and yet hotel.com confirmed payment and the credit card showed full payment was debited. Yet they forced him to pay again so they have taken two payments for the reservation.. No hotel in the world would do that. Anyone who wants to consider going there we recommend do not.

The room was clean and the wifi worked occasionally, but the hotel staff customer services was awful. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The food was worse and you would be lucky to get instant coffee for breakfast. The hotel is far away from the main strip in Yaounde. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone: pay the extra dollars and stay at the Hilton.

This hotel is comfortable and adequate, but lacking in charm. The restaurant is a bit depressing, and the food hit or miss. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

L'albergo è ben situato, ha delle camere di buona taglia, una colazione decente e il personale amabile, ma la delusione è legata a quelle tre parole. In due o tre occasioni è mancata l'acqua calda, l'hotel mette a disposizione unicamente saponette solide e solo dopo molte richieste mi ha procurato tre bustine di shampoo scadente. Invece nessuna richiesta è servita per avere un asciugacapelli durante tutto il soggiorno. Le quattro stelle non sono giustificate!

La mia esperienza assolutamente negativa, prenotato per due notti con prenotazione confermata ma la camera non era disponibile, mi hanno spostato in una struttura di minor livello, no comment. Comunque a parte una signora che ha cercato di darci una mano direi che è stato tutto negativo, televisore che ho dovuto spegnere staccando la spina, gabinetto rotto che perdeva acqua, ho atteso un asciugamano per 45 min senza mai riceverlo, servizio lento e struttura vecchia e fatiscente che non rispecchia per nulla le 4 stelle dichiarate.
