Beautiful, spotless and well maintained room. Food and service, both breakfast and sky lounge, were excellent. Unfortunately, our arrival was far from satisfactory. We booked airport pickup with the hotel, only to arrive and have to wait with our luggage for half an hour before someone showed up. When we arrived at the hotel we were put into the wrong category of room. After questioning this with the receptionist we were given the correct room. At check-in we also asked for a reservation the next day outside at the Fishmarket, which she confirmed she would do. She completely forgot to do this and we were seated inside as the restaurant had only received the request that afternoon. For a hotel of this standard I blame these shortcomings on poor management. After touring Namibia for 30 days we had planned to return to Windhoek for a couple of nights, and had thought we would come back to the Weinberg. After our experience we made other arrangements.

Great hotel prior to starting the safari. Safe location. Lots of walkable restaurant options. Beautiful rooms and property! Staff very attentive and helpful.

My Family had the most amazing stay at The Weinberg. The hotel extremely comfortable, with amazing staff and restaurants on site. A special shout out to Beulah who made our stay particuarly special, with room upgrades (to accomodate our childrens needs) and special service and attention to detail. Will definitely be back.

Staff and service were excellent. Room was lovely with a great shower. Convenient location with secure parking. Restaurants were really good and the cocktails at the sky bar were perfect.

We had a fabulous time at the Weinberg Hotel in Windhoek. The room was very spacious and had a nice balcony with view of the city. We also enjoyed the Fish restaurant and the excellent breakfast.

Excellent stay, great quality hotel on par with European standards. Food offering fantastic across the different restaurants. Easy to get to from the airport. Should've stayed another night.

Ups Most of the staff were friendly, and the facility looked great. The room wasn’t very spacious but was generally clean. I would recommend this hotel for either the first or last stay in Namibia, as many others already do. Downs There were just two areas that seemed to have room for improvement: 1. Shower Booth Door The bathroom door and the shower booth door can overlap. This was mostly just inconvenient, but by the end of my stay, I realized it could be dangerous. I hurt my fingers when the two doors overlapped. 2. Tour Recommendation One staff member who assisted us to our room puzzled us right away. He carried only our small bags, leaving the heaviest one for me. Then, he asked if we were interested in a city tour program. When we said we’d think about it, he walked off abruptly. To be honest, it felt like he stormed out. To this day, I don’t understand what we did wrong. It might be easier for everyone—staff and guests alike—if tour recommendations were handled at the concierge, which is conveniently located in the lobby.

We had a great stay at the Weinberg. Facilities are very good and the staff are all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Herold and Stranger who were invaluable in helping us deal with a car accident.
