After the room was cleaned, we had to request clean towels several times. The housekeeping staff never brought clean towels to the room. During meals at the buffet, we often had to wait for drink cups or silverware.

untrained staff, hard to communicate (lack of english). al a cart restaurants were awful food wasn't fresh, tasteless, difficult to book in. No glasses at the bar, it was a mission to get a beach towel, and the room was very basic for a 5 star hotel. I would rate the hotel maximum 3 start.

Please don’t book. Only a 3star hotel that can’t cope with capacity of guests. Rooms not cleaned. Staff rude. Food poisoning. Save your money and go to the Caribbean where you’re welcomed.

Our experience at the resort was mixed, but we made the most of what was an uneven experience. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The food was decent, although not exceptional. The staff were generally pleasant, but were reactive and not proactively ensuring things were in place, delivering on the service promise. For example, there were no facial tissues in the room, despite there being an empty dispenser in the bathroom. Each time I went to the gym, there were no towels for the guests and had to chase staff to replenish. Also, we went days without housekeeping checking in to see if buns needed emptying or if we needed more water for the room. This too had to be requested. The resort did not have a secured facility to hold luggage for guests waiting to check in. Our flight arrived late morning which meant that we had to wait four hours with our luggage until we could check in at 3pm. We were told that we could leave our bags outside in the corner of the front entrance and that it was safe, but this is unacceptable. Also, when we arrived, we stood in a long queue to book the specialty restaurants for the week, only to find that they were fully booked up to the night before we departed. We later learned that there was an online booking tool for the restaurants, but this was never offered up front. We were able to put our names on a waiting list and, on the following day, offered two bookings for a couple of nights. Have more to say, but out of space

Waited in a queue for an hour. Once at the reception desk, they didn't give us a towel card, didn't explain our benefits for level, over charged us on taxes and generally rude.

I hope to never return to this place. Glad i only stayed 1 night here. I thought i would spend a nice afternoon and evening but this feeling was replaced with dissapoitment, anger, andwondering how are these people charging this much money for a place like this. Here are the things that occured: Room not ready at 3 pm. Had to wait 40 minutes. went through process with FOUR people at the reception to do the check in to learn about the hotel and what they have and the restaurants and then qr codes for the different menus, then transfer to another reception to pick up the key to your room (a second person) a third person at this other reception to tell me again about the restaurants which full disclosure at this point i told them enough as i had already heard that there are four restaurants. Then a fourth person to show me in the me where my room is. And then a fifth person went to bring me my luggage in my room. none of the 4 people during all the process mentioned rsvp ends at 4pm. Tried calling from room to rsvp for dinner and phone is broken. So i went all the way to the reception. They said yah all phones are broken. after complaining someone went to ask for a table for me to eat at one of the restaurants. restaurant was horrible. Maybe 10%full from 6:30 - 7:30 so not sure what the big deal was in the first place. The menu bad. The food bad. No drink selection at the ranchos restaurant. Dirty glass bc they said they grabed it with dirty hands. Left my plate walked and out

Rooms in the ground floors are full of mosquitos which tormented our family during the entire stay. Bath tub/shower does not have the proper set up so every time you shower the water goes all over the floor which made it extremely unsafe. My family slipped and fell couple of times. Water comes up on the tub while showering because the drain systems are all messed up and dirty leaving gross residue in the bath tub while still in showering. The facilities never had towels in the pool. If 100 people needed towels they only had towels for 20. I personally could never get pool towels our entire stay. Everyday was the same excuse. They ran out of towels. House keeping came to clean rooms only after we complained. Most of us went 3 days without housekeeping services or towels. Upon arrival the floors were filthy black. It was never washed between guests.Telephone in the room never worked for us to call the front desk or anything else. There were about 70 of us throught the resort on a family wedding and majority experienced similar issues. Rooms does not have iron and when you asked for one they take it back before you even get to use it. Hair dryer is the oldest and most dysfunctional I have ever used. THEY MESSED UP OUR ROOMS ASSIGNMENT SO BAD, PLACING US IN ONE ROOM, BUT RECORDED US IN A DIFFERENT ROOM CAUSING CHAOS DURING CHECKOUT. The resort is huge and beautiful, but it lacks management and services terrible. So many young workers with NO SUPPLIES AND DIRECTIONS

Without a doubt, one of the best holidays we’ve had. We travelled as a group of friends with children 2 to 18 years old, and there was truly something for everyone. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was huge and full of activities that after a full week, we still hadn’t explored it all! The buffet restaurants were outstanding. The variety and quality of food were impressive, and the service was exceptional. A special mention must go to one of the waitresses, 'Miraculous', who was incredibly kind and patient with our lively group of children. Her warm and friendly nature made our visits a pleasure. The pools were consistently clean, and the variety from kids’ pools to more relaxing area meant we always had something to enjoy. One day, during a temporary power outage, the slides at the water park weren’t working, but the lifeguard kept the kids entertained, which was appreciated. The beach was breathtaking clean, beautiful, and easily accessible. The facilities nearby were convenient, and even the vendors offering excursions were great to deal with. 'Victor', in particular, was friendly, helpful, and never pushy. 'Jose' from VIP Guest Services also deserves recognition. Despite us not being VIP clients, he was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The only slight disappointment was with restaurants we booked. Unfortunately, the staff there were quite rude and the food didn’t meet the same standards as the buffet. Was still a 10/10 holiday however!

Where do I start? Holiday from hell... The website online was very deceiving. All inclusive 5 star hotel - no, not at all. More like a 2 star at best. The island believes in 'No Stress' yes this is true for them but it was very stressful for us. In our group we had 4 strict vegetarians (that ate eggs) but the restaurants including the buffet did not cater for us. Throughout our stay, we had to eat chips and pizza everyday for every meal. What made matters worst was they have a so called booking system for their a la carte restaurants, but you can never find a booking online... When we managed to get a booking for the restaurants and asked if some of the main courses could exclude the meat option and just have the standard vegetables, we were told no. One of the restaurants Rancho, had a vegetarian taco starter and when we asked to order 2 per person, as each dish only had ONE taco, we were told no, this can't be done. There was no apology or alternative offered except a chuckle from the waitress 'oh you're vegetarian, hahaha'.. DISAPPOINTING! The website and Expedia both state an indian cuisine restaurant, Sahel (which you'd assume can cater for vegetarians as this cuisine is mainly vegetarian) but when we arrived, this restaurant did not exist - how shambolic! It was a meat restaurant of African cuisine. The staff are not helpful at all, they act like it's a chore to speak to you. The hotel is infested with mosquitos and we were bitten alive by them - be warned.

Music was very loud and the food in the buffet was atrocious. The food wasn’t covered in the level lounge and the flies were all over the food. The hotel furniture and rooms are very tired. The staff were lovely and very helpful so much so we moved hotel! The sand flies and mosquitos were quite bad, plenty of deet needed!
