This hotel is well worth it. The price is great, and the breakfast is delicious. It's close to the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and Yogyakarta State University (YNY). The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I'll definitely stay here again if I go back to Yogyakarta.

I've tried staying at many hotels in Yogyakarta, but only one or two have been truly excellent. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant stay at Porta by Ambarukmo. I didn't expect the staff to be this professional, the rooms to be this spacious, and the facilities to look so well-maintained. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yogyakarta.

It was a very comfortable stay. The only downside was the jacuzzi, which prioritizes foreigners. I wasn't able to enjoy the jacuzzi until check-out, even though I chose this hotel because it had one.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience staying at Porta. The staff and food were very nice. However, the soundproofing was not good enough for my family because we could hear the sounds from outside the hotel.

The hotel is strategically located on the main road. The staff is friendly, the pool is on the rooftop, and the breakfast is good. The deluxe room for two is quite spacious, with two soft pillows, and the mattress is comfortable, so it doesn't cause back pain.

Very comfortable stay in a convenient location in Yogyakarta. Friendly and helpful staff. We were mostly on the run doing tourist stuff, but slept very comfortably and enjoyed visiting the upstairs lounge for drinks and live music. The last night in town we had some lovely beers and lounged on beanbag chairs! Only wish the pool was open later. It looked very inviting and had a great view of the town, but closed at 7:00. Otherwise, great stay!

I stayed at Porta By Ambarukmo while accompanying my child during their freshman year at UGM. The hotel was comfortable, the facilities were good, the room and toilet were clean... It was definitely worth it 🫰. I'd love to stay here again sometime 🫠

A hotel located near Gadjah Mada University (UGM). It's a strategic location for a visit to UGM. The staff are very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to reservations and cleaning. The rooms are clean, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. I haven't tried the pool yet, but I would definitely return to this hotel again.
