The owner is a fantastic host! He really looked after our group of 6. The staff ensured we had safe parking for our motorbikes and made us feel extremely welcome. An extremely well stocked bar with great staff running it who again went that extra mile giving us plenty of belly laughs too. To top it all off the cooked breakfast was amazing!! The best we have had in a very long time at a hotel. The effort of quality products cooked perfectly with real attention to detail 👌 😋 Thank you for making our short visit so special 💖

The rooms are certainly dated, but perfectly functional. In the very hot weather the proximity of the busy main road wasn't great for sleeping. The pub/restaurant is very good, serves great food and very good service. The breakfast was also excellent, and the staff were very helpful with early the early start we had on our last day too. Just off the A55 also makes it an ideal base for getting around north Wales.

Lovely pub and hotel in a good location. Room was spotless and a very comfy bed. Room had a mini fridge and was provided with a fan on request. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the room price - it was cooked to order, probably best hotel breakfast I've had

Decent clean room comfy bed fresh clean towels and a warm shower perfectly adequate for my one night stay. Quality produce full English breakfast rounded off a great stay. Almost forgot all the staff and the owner were all super friendly and helpful.

Good hotel for our short 2 night stay visiting relatives in the area. The management were very helpful and provided anything we asked for. We didn’t have dinner there so can’t comment on that aspect, but breakfast was first class and cooked freshly to order.

Clean property. Accessible. Was a bit noisy as room overlooked a busy road. It was a hot day and there was no air conditioning or fan. Staff were helpful the following day and agreed to move me to another room.

Nice hotel in convenient location for local villages and A55. Bar and restaurant area have been refurbished to a high standard, with good food and drink offer. Staff very welcoming and professional. Rooms are in the process of being updated, ours (no 8) was clean with a lovely view. Fridge in room, also which was helpful. Plenty of off road parking. I'd recommend for a short stay.

Room was decent and had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and would definitely recommend giving it a try. We both really enjoyed the food and we were treated to a tremendous full English breakfast in the morning.

Firstly, staff made us really welcome and were great throughout our stay..our room was clean and spacious with a great view..i was worried that beds may be uncomfortable based on previous reviews however all good no issues. We had evening meal and breakfast both were amazing..
