Excellent service and great freshly cooked food. I had a classic fish and chips with a side salad. The salad was fresh and crunchy and the fish and chips were one of the best I’ve had. To top it off, the staff were really polite and friendly. I highly recommend it, it has been added to my favourites.

From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the cosy atmosphere and the warm welcome—but the real star of the show was the incredible spread. The selection of sandwiches was outstanding—fresh, generously filled, and with a lovely variety (think creamy egg mayo, smoked salmon ...). Each bite was perfection! Then came the cakes and scones… oh my! The scones were warm, buttery, and crumbled just right, served with clotted cream and homemade jam. As for the cakes, they were divine—moist, flavourful, and beautifully presented. From delicate Victoria sponge to rich chocolate slices, every treat was a little piece of heaven. What amazed me most was how affordable it all was for such high quality. Most places charge a fortune for afternoon tea, but this gem in Yarmouth offers unbeatable value without skimping on taste or portion size. If you’re looking for a perfect afternoon indulgence, look no further. This place has stolen my heart—and my stomach! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10, the best afternoon tea experience ever! ☕🍰

We didn't stay at the hotel but came for afternoon tea. Their cakes were all home made and really fresh. So much so that we came the next for lunch which was simple food and again all home made and delicious. We also ordered a birthday cake for our daughter turning 16: the walnut and coffee cake was so fluffy and the cream light. It was a real delight. Many thanks for the warm atmosphere and the effort to find a solution to transport the cake.

We have just spent two nights at Jireh House, and enjoyed every moment. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our room was quaint with a beautiful window and old beams. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Jan & Gary really couldn't do enough. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and served on hot plates! Jireh House is slap bang in the centre of Yarmouth and we can't wait to return.

Don't have the scampi and chips, £15 for food poisoning. I threw up three times in their bathroom, and have been violently sick this evening, I will not be returning. My Nanna had a coffee and it was horrible, the staff were very apologetic but it shouldn't have even been served to me. Currently in bed with intense stomach ache.
