It was generally good, thank you!! However, Saturday night was spoiled by guests in the room above my room 8. There is very little sound-proofing and every noise from the room above was heard. Quite loudly at times!!

Friendly staff, nice stay

As always this is a great place to stay with fantastic staff.

We had a lovely stay the room vas clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and food was good. The old pub and village was lovely and a view of the castle from our room was a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room (castle) was great, the hotel had tons of character , food amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. We were originally going to stay in Frome then seen this hotel - we would without hesitation recommend. A fantastic find.

Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, which was at the top.

friendly, cozy, amazing breakfast, convenient driving

The heating in the room didn’t work early evening so the room was freezing till late at night. The TV reception was so bad you couldn’t watch it. Staff great very friendly and the food enormous portions of really nice food.

Staff excellent, place is awesome, room good, bed comfy. Facilities all round good. My only gripe was food quality. Menu offered lots of choice but food quality i felt could be better.

The hotel was clean and staff very polite. The breakfast was very good with a range of choices. The Castle suite was beyond expectation.
