Lovely oasis within Victoria Falls. 2 pools and beautiful garden. Quiet and well maintained. Staff helpful with airport transfers. Loved our stay here. A shuttle service to town would be nice but they will help you get a taxi. It’s a long walk to the falls area.

Great experience. Was able also to book a nice facial at the spa. Relaxing! Also, great breakfast.

Lovely accommodation, and quieter than the main strip. Comfortable, clean and friendly. Special mention of waiter Peter whose energy and humour made our dinner especially memorable!

The Front desk staff were very helpful. Especially Loretter, she made 4 5 phone calls for us to make sure that the tour guide would pick us up from the hotel. The restaurant services were excellent. The ordered breakfasts were always perfectly prepared.

I stayed in 3 hotels during my long stay at Victoria Falls, Pioneer was hands down the best one. The staff was incredibly helpful, including lending me their own charger for the night because I had lost mine. The property is beautiful and well-kept. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

The property has a British colonial feeling. I truly enjoyed the garden and the plants. The service was very good as the staff was attentive and courteous. The tall bell person standing in front of the hotel was so cheerful in greeting the guests and helpful in unloading the luggage immediately. The overall experience made my stay very pleasant and memorable.

Staff and service were excellent! A lot of different bugs in my room through my 4 day stay however not sure if this is something they can control but it was a bit unpleasant in the end. Food was excellent at the restaurant! Great options!

Very nice property to stay at

Ok for a stop over but disappointed with the standard of the restaurant food. A little way out from town with no shuttle bus available. They did have a mini bus but I'm not sure what they used it for. Taxis to and from Lodge were $7 each way which was a bit excessive.

Our recent stay at Pioneers Lodge was magnificent, this property was beautiful, the gardens were so lovely and well maintained, it’s hard to believe they were only established in 2019! The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast options were great too. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at Pioneer’s Lodge. The staff are fantastic, Sharon checked me in and was so helpful and knowledgeable, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, they have managed to create a wonderful oasis in a relatively short time. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again without hesitation.
