It’s in a cracking location. However there’s massive construction going on right next to the location so no chance of a lazy morning in bed. Also, the plumbing is loud when other rooms are using their facilities.

Yorkville is a beautiful area of Toronto with so much to do right around the corner. Unfortunately the suits was less appealing. I specifically wanted an hotel with a kitchen to maintain some morning routines. Unfortunately the appliances were all broken or low quality which detracted from the overall experience - fridge frozen shut, microwave door wouldn’t open, cabinets and floor peeling.

Clean room; staff was okay, Stk & other restaurants surrounded the location. Bar, I don’t recall those

Located in a nice, upmarket neighbourhood with good dining options. The fancy cars roaring by were good eye candy too! The gym was located on the same floor as the room I got (3rd floor), so that was a bonus. Apartment was comfortable and spacious, and the balcony was an advantage.

Bed was small. Biggest issue was the attitude of concierge. They seem to be short on towels and would not give us additional towels when requested. We were there for 5 nights. 4 towels shared between two adults is simply inadequate.

The area was great but the appartment was missing a lot of things like face cloth, pan to cook, curtains that are not letting the light in the bedroom etc.

Great area and view. There were many interruptions during our 4 day stay: fire alarm testing on day 2, no water in the evening and on day 3 and we found out that workers had been in our unit for maintenance. No notice or communication until after the fact and it felt invasive. Only 2 towels for 4 days and some problems in the suite with a window and noisy headboard. We would never stay here again.

Due to construction on the north side, it was very noisy. Some things were not working in the unit.

We had to request dish cloths, dish towels, face cloths and kleenex. They refused to provide kleenex or dish towels. We had to request instructions on how to operate the dishwasher but communication was delayed. It would be helpful if there were luggage racks to put a suitcase on.

I don’t really recommend for anyone to stay here. The place was okay but the details of the suite made for a lot of small inconveniences and a general feeling that the property wasn’t so well maintained. I avoided showering while I was there because there was no shower curtain for the tub, instead there was a moldy black

The area is excellent and the location is beautiful, the building and lobby is nice The apartment was a panaramic 2 bedroom 2 baths , cute bedrooms and living room Nice view but the bathrooms were totally dated and not too appealing, mold on the tile in shower and around the sink They need to remodel or get it professionally clean The communication between us the Avalon agent was not very clear Their service is not good You almost have to beg for fresh towels and coffee They pretend they have hotel like service but they really are not available all the time All together was an ok experience But I’ll stay in a hotel next time.

Good location. Felt Safe, Room was very nice, bed was comfortable. Nice little kitchen area. Essentially a one bedroom apartment. Construction across the street started early. Office building across the street left its lights on all night which lit up the apartment and was not conducive to sleep. Blackout curtains should be installed. Key fob would not access P3 parking level, which required me to have the concierge unlock the elevator every time I wanted to access my car. A bit of an annoyance. All that said, I would stay at 155 Yorkville again and would recommend to a friend.

Yorkville is a posh area of Toronto. The Avalon Suites were the farthest thing from posh. The location is great - lots of great shops, restaurants, subway stop. It's downhill after that. The room was not modern by tech standards and barely furnished. No dresser to put clothes away. One bedside table (turned toward the bed so the drawers couldn't open). The bed was uncomfortable and the comforter was very thin (and stained). I asked for an additional sheet and a blanket - got the blanket but no sheet. I forgot to take a photo of the layer of dust on top of the headboard. The TV was worthless. The lighting in the bathroom was poor - because the fixtures were dust-covered? or purposely to hide how dirty it was? Two bath towels and 2 hand towels were provided. I asked for 2 additional bath towels since my husband and I were staying for 7 days and was denied. The fridge was fine. There was kettle to boil water for tea. No bins for recycling. A number of the electric outlets didn't work, and there were no USB ports or the like for charging devices. For the money paid and the location, this was by far one of the most disappointing places I have ever stayed (nothing against Toronto - it's a lovely city)

I would go for larger unit next time. Need some service given multiple day stay. HVAC control not very user friendly. There was no AC one day. Tissues would be nice.
