Hotel Gouverneur is a beautiful hotel nested on Charron Island. Lovely walking trails. Deer roaming on the island. The interior is a step back in time of 70’s opulence. This was a great find. I will definitely stay there again. A great midway stop heading to New Brunswick.

They give me a room with stain carpet i called the desk They give me different room it has less than the first one dining room you have the impression they are closing no lights to the main entrance

Good value if you are staying for one night

The front desk overcharged me, I spent 30 mins at checkout getting refunded and having to pay for the stay all over again. The person who checked me out barely spoke english and i barely speak french so i had no idea what he was trying to explain to me. The area was not great. Not well lit, so it felt a little bit unsafe, and trying to find the hotel itself was a mess. TONS of construction in the whole area makes things difficult, and the view wasn't exactly picturesque. I probably would not stay at this location again in the future. They say you get what you pay for, but with how much extra I got charged I should have had a much better experience.

We love to stay at this hotel. Near the tunnel, great park behind with Deer near by, good breakfast, free parking. Just reminber it’s on Island so not near any restaurant nor facilities.

The hotel had no water service. The only plce to get water was the tap in the dinning or vending machine which was only carbonated water or alkaline water. There were no slippers or robes provided. There was a fly in the room but was cleaned up by room service immediately. Breakfast was good.

Hall avec odeur nauséabonde. Beaucoup de taches sur la moquette de la chambre. Hotel désert.
