Considering we stayed at the 2 star hotel, the reception lounge set this hotel apart from similar hotels because the facilities are shared with the 3 star hotel. There are no kettles in the rooms but, you can fill cups with hot water from the dispensers in the breakfast area (politely ask reception first).
We arrived late and hadn't eaten. Fear not. Just up the road there is a fabulous fish restaurant called La Marina. Fresh fish cooked to order and sold by the kilo (25 Euros) or you can select from a limited choice of set menus. This is a basic restaurant and you won't find alcohol sold here, but the food was so good we ate there twice over the weekend and the staff were really friendly. Children will like the aquariums and parents will find the prices are far cheaper than the tourist restaurants in the city centre!
