Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but sufficient

Here’s a polished, natural-sounding review in English: --- This was my sixth stay in a hotel in Gambia, and without a doubt the best one considering the same standard of hotels. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, the rooms were more comfortable than anywhere I’ve stayed before, and the overall atmosphere made the experience truly relaxing. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great value and a genuinely enjoyable stay.

Most of the staff was friendly, while one other staff refused to speak or say hello to me at breakfast time. They only wanted my room number. I eventually said hello and greated them but they seem uncomfortable. However they were more friendly to other guests than myself. So I will not be returning to Bamboo resort. They also charge for late check out by the hour and when i left my luggage at reception it was left unattended eventhough i was told someone will always be there to keep an eye. I was very disappointed

Nice and beautiful

From the outside of the beach hotel resort, to the lobby and then the entire surrounding of the hotel area itself were very amazing and the rooms were highly comfortable. The restaurant area was nicely decorated and the foods were made cooked to order. Moreover, fresh ingredients were used and the taste were mouth watering delicious in every bite. At night, the lights lit up the entire hotel property. The pools sparkled with cleanliness and the sound of nature made it so peaceful. I wanted to stay longer, but had to return back to the USA to be with my kids. Hands down this has been one of the best clean beach hotel resorts I have vacationed at period. Love it!

The staff at the front desk wasn’t welcoming, housekeeping didn’t take the dirty dishes from my room.

The property has a lovely concept, but the property is runned down, walls are falling apart, the same with the furniture. However, the staff is wonderful and very nice.

I like the concept of the property, but it needs to be updated. The internet was almost non-existent.

The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much selection to choice from. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

The staff are the best and will go above and beyond to assist customers. The breakfast was fine. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most things you would want and need on holiday. The peacocks and other birds that live on the grounds made it a wonderful, unique place to stay. The beds are really not comfortable, unfortunately. Oh, and there seemed to be a shortage of napkins and toilet paper for some strange reason: we did however, find plenty in the shop, some 50 metres from the hotel.

Did not stay at the Bamboo as they did not accept the Reservation process by Expedia left me stranded when I arrived for check in Am really anger with the whole situation as I already informed you Expedia about the situation

When I arrived to check in I was told that the place was overbooked. And there were no rooms available.

We really liked the hotel, the setting is magnificent, the staff pleasant and professional... we had booked for 2 days but we ended up staying for 5 days. Honestly it is a very nice hotel
