This property would have easily obtained five stars however parking was a major problem. Because we were on a 24 night day we had lots of luggage and the only spots available for unloading luggage. We’re taking by buses so we had to park in the parking lot designated for the train, which was very full and put us a long way from the front desk other than that this place was awesome

Excellent location in the middle of town. Easy walking distance to all day tours, shopping, and restaurants.

Staff was amazing and extremely pleasant. The shower was hard to work. Not having an individual control for temperature was difficult. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was beautiful. Valet parking was very helpful.

Absolutely a dropdead gorgeous hotel. From the lobby to the Oyster Bar and restaurant to the downstairs pub everything is absolutely perfect. Our room was amazing and looked out onto Eyre Square, which is where you want to be. A ten minute walk to the Latin Quarter, which is where we spent most our time souvenir shopping and going to all the various restaurants and pubs. Super fun. Great location for the hotel.

Loved the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and has great sitting spaces. The staff was very kind & helpful. It was a bit weird that no one answers the main phone number. Was a little disappointed that the room was so warm and we were not told it did not have ac. But everything else law was great.

Staff were lovely, however there was a leak coming in at the window and the carpet was soaked wet. The room was very damp and musky so I would think that the leak had been there a good while so not sure if the cleaners are checking rooms correctly. I would think , I might have just been unlucky with the room as the rest of the hotel was lovely and the staff were great too.

We had a lovely room, spotlessly clean(only issue was noise from building work outside our window from early in the morning). The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely breakfast both mornings, great choices available.

Friendly staff, they have us a map and recommendations for Galway. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location and walking distance. good breakfast.

Nice hotel and staff

Went for a one night stay, it was amazing. The hotel is fabulous staff are fabulous. it was a real 10 out of 10. The beds were super comfy, so were the pillows, the breakfast which was included in the room rate and made a super full menu, with plentiful breakfast items that wouldn’t disappoint every taste - I cannot find anything that wasn’t first class. We will stay there again for sure.

This place has a lot work to do. Photos are highly doctored and edited to post on Expedia. The reason why this hotel has this many stars is because of the proximity to Eyre Square. Mold in the bathroom, the leg for the bathroom sink was broken, the glass shelf next to the sink was broken, room had absolutely no ventilation which will create a mold breeding ground. I honestly don't understand why in Europe they put 2 twin beds together to make a king; thats like a 2.5 star hotel move or even a motel move. The bed was brick solid hard. You wake up and your entire body hurts and is sore. You feel the grooves between both twin beds and the straps holding the beds together. Quite uncomfortable. The sheets for the beds were the opposite of soft. The sheets were so rough you could grate garlic on them and it would come out minced; what a terrible feeling. The entire bathroom floor gets soaked after showers with the nonesensical half shower door that does not stay in place. I imagine how much of a safety issue that creates. If the management blames the bathroom issues on the cleaning staff, that is what you call unaccountability on managments behalf. Man, the chandelier in the bedroom was not even centered on the plaster. I don't live like this and anyone paying money to stay at a highly rated hotel should not either. Other guests in the hotel were nicer than the staff. Outright appalled and wish I could get a FULL REFUND. I will be back to Ireland but absolutely not this place.
