Quite a pleasant experience staying at JW Naungan. I really like the design and ambience of the hotel, modern, homey, beautiful, looks simple but classy. The staff is also very nice, friendly, and helpful. FYI I stayed in a twin room, 3 things in my opinion are lacking and need to be considered, maybe they can be considered to be updated/improved:
1. The shower in the bathroom is not comfortable and not quite right, the water is a little less strong and large, the shower handle must be held when showering because if it is hung the position will be too high especially because the shower support/hanger cannot be adjusted so that the water will instead flow forward towards the wall instead of down, the shower head, shower rack, and soap dish also look dirty and have lots of water crust.
2. I think the bath towels also need to be replaced, they are actually clean and fragrant, it's just that they look a bit shabby, like towels at home that haven't been changed for a long time, some parts of the edges of the towels are a little torn or the stitching is loose, it can still be used and functions well indeed, but I think it's not enough for hotel towel standards.
3. There is only one plug and light switch on the side of the bed, one plug hole on one side of the outside of the bed. Because I booked a twin bed type room, I had a bit of difficulty when I needed a plug to charge my electronic device, coincidentally my colleague and I were working with several electronic devices that sometimes needed to be charged and were forced to keep them "used" to work while being charged. I found it difficult when we both needed a plug without disturbing each other or queuing, because the available plug was really only one and on one side outside one of the beds, unlike in other hotels in general where on each side of the bed there will be a plug and a night light switch, or at least if it really had to be on one side only the plug and switch would be in the middle between the 2 twin beds.
