This place has consistently ranked among the top reviews in Khanom for years, and I've always wanted to stay here if I had the chance. However, I was somewhat disappointed. The rooms are quite old and smell of wood, although the beds are comfortable. There's a slight dusty smell, possibly because it was the low season. The pool access room was very difficult to get into the water; you had to jump in, and the edge of the pool cut my leg. The entrance to the pool is next to the room, which is confusing. If no one is in the room, swimming with just one other person like that is impossible. Who would open the room for you? The rooms are very close together; sitting on the balcony means looking at the room opposite – no enjoyment at all, very cramped. Breakfast was even worse; I thought they hadn't put everything on the table, but they actually had nothing. It was even less than hotels costing around 1000 baht. However, the staff were lovely, as expected. If you're coming to Khanom, consider staying at a hotel with a spa – it's much more relaxing. I've been there three times and haven't been disappointed.
