out of hours staff extremely helpful when we had issues and needed to move rooms, however reception were less than polite or helpful especially the person with white framed glasses who was sarcastic and extremely rude constantly Inconsistencies with staff knowledge. one minute a hotel taxi is 25 2 hours later rate is 35! one minute c late check out is confirmed next minute… how dare you. no it’s not confirmed Would never stay here again because of inexperienced staff and rude staff

The rooftop pool was amazing and one of the main reasons I booked this hotel—it did not disappoint! We spent most afternoons up there enjoying the views and the great poolside service. The location is excellent for walking around and exploring Valletta, and I especially recommend a morning stroll to the Triton Fountain. That said, I would not recommend room 102, as it faces a nightclub across the alley and was extremely loud late into the night. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so we couldn’t be moved, and the earplugs provided didn’t help much. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Valletta, but I’d suggest requesting a room away from the Straight street side for a more restful night.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Glorious pool, bar and restaurant on a terrace overlooking the city. Rooms are quiet with L’Occitane toiletries. Would highly recommend. Our 2nd visit, hopefully not the last.

Staff and service was first class. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary

A warm reception. Clean facility. Beautiful location. Unfortunately there was an undeniable sewage stench in the front lobby the entire time. Beyond that it was great.

The only thing I would say in terms of improvements is perhaps to better train the staff at breakfast. The supervisor was good but no one proactively came and asked for coffee/tea orders. The staff were nice, no question, I just think they could be better trained to be more attentive to the visitors. It felt like they had been trained to be attentive to the table cleanliness only (which is obviously a good thing!) My other observation is that in the evenings the restaurant receives visitors who want to Instagram photos of the beautiful view but the people doing it don’t really consider their impact to the people trying to have a quiet meal right next to their photo taking. It would be good if staff could move the Instagrammers on to a quieter area to allow diners to enjoy their meals and the view in peace. Food was really good tho!!

Overall, this is an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It offers convenient access to the Three Cities, Sliema, and the Gozo ferry terminals. Key attractions like St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the lively Republic and Merchant Streets, Grand Harbour, Upper Barrakka Gardens, Triton Fountain, and the Valletta bus terminal are all within walking distance. Popular spots such as Mdina and Marsaxlokk are just a short drive away. The rooftop provides stunning views of the Carmelite Church dome and Fort Manoel. The staff are welcoming, and the hotel is well-maintained and clean.

The location is a real plus point. Convenient for major tourist attractions and great for socialising. The real bonus was the rooftop cocktail bar in the evening. Fabulous view across Valletta.

A fabulous hotel in a super central location. Everywhere is walkable. Breakfast buffet of high quality. The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant was a highlight of our stay, not only for the view and cocktail menu but the lovely and helpful staff. Shout out to Luka at reception who was very helpful and welcoming.
