The location is strategic, and the staff is very helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, with help carrying your luggage to your room. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that if your room is on the third floor without an elevator, it can be a hassle to go up and down in case you forget something. The hotel's location in the middle of Prawirotaman Street is very busy, especially on weekend nights (music from the neighboring street (till drop and nearby cafes) can be heard all the way to your room). This can be a bit of a nuisance for light sleepers. I'd also suggest providing glasses and a kettle (for boiling water) in the room so you don't have to go downstairs to get hot water from the water dispenser in the kitchen. It's a hassle going up and down the room, especially at night or early in the morning, because you have to find staff on standby.

The food at the hotel cafe is delicious. I tried the Magelangan fried rice, kwetiaw, and the burjo (fried rice dish) was also really good. The bunk beds are spacious and can accommodate 4-5 people.

It was a really comfortable stay here. The room wasn't damp, had good ventilation, and was clean. There are also plenty of cafes and eateries around the hotel.

I'm prone to dust allergies. But staying here, I woke up without any redness or sneezing. The room, bed, and air conditioning made me comfortable and I slept soundly. The location is also close to my children's boarding house and Malioboro. Prawiro has plenty of entertainment and cafes at night. I ended up extending my stay for another night.

This is my second stay at Ministry. It's comfortable, close to the city center, several culinary spots and cafes, and close to the mosque. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful when I couldn't make a reservation via the app. The rooms are very cool, clean, and comfortable for a good rest. The bathroom smelled really bad, like a septic tank. I've complained, but no action has been taken. There's no coffee maker, no slippers, the Wi-Fi is sometimes slow, the shower is rusty, and the door is rotten. The only good thing about this hotel is the location; everything else is abysmal.
