I had booked two rooms for my guests, Dinillah and Iklima, through Traveloka. However, when my guests checked in, the receptionist told me there were no rooms booked under those names, and then advised me to book the rooms manually. Even though they had already booked and paid for them through Traveloka. After checking out, my guests reconfirmed that they had previously booked rooms here and wanted a refund for the two unused rooms. The staff reasoned that they couldn't refund the money because they didn't show proof of payment through Traveloka at check-in. My suggestion is that the hotel management should first check with the hotel to see if proof of payment is required upon check-in; they only need to state their name and show their ID card.
