The front office staff were all nice, but the security guard only wanted to open the door for people with cars, haha. He also said at check-out that I had consumed Bintang Beer (it was on the room bar menu). Luckily, the front office believed me. Otherwise, how would I prove it? Clean, fragrant, and comfortable. My first stay in Bandung was at the Kumala Hotel.

This room isn't classic anymore, but rather an old one with no maintenance. All the furniture is old, the sink is clogged, the bathtub has been patched, the ceiling is moldy, and the vanity chair is no longer suitable. This is my first and last time here. With a Dulux room priced at almost 400,000, it's highly not recommended.

The hotel rooms are spacious and have a pleasant atmosphere. A small suggestion would be to add more fragrances along the path leading to the rooms, as it's very humid.

The room was decent, clean, and comfortable enough. However, the amenities were quite limited, and there was only one sachet of coffee provided. The flooring was also a bit odd, as it felt uneven and slightly bumpy. The food was okay, but the parking situation was a little difficult. On the bright side, the hotel is conveniently located near Lengkong Street, so there are plenty of street food options nearby. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially if you’re looking for a convenient location close to lots of food options.

I checked in to this hotel through the app and was assigned a room on the second floor, room 203. Perhaps the most important thing to improve is the bathroom. Some suggestions for improvements include the bathtub not having a lid, preventing the water from flowing, and the bathroom door lock not being able to be locked. For a 2-star hotel, it's probably quite okay, with a few amenities that need improvement. Finally, I'd like to say thank you. We left something behind at check-out. Luckily, the office was responsive, and thankfully, we were able to retrieve it.
