The hotel is very strategic in the middle of Melaka city. There are many shops around. Below the 7e & 99 speedmart hotel. The area is not quiet so don't be afraid. Safe for solo travelers & women. Walking distance to restaurants. Parking for the night is easy to find. Parking is free on Mondays & Tuesdays, other days are paid. The room is clean and comfortable. Basic toiletries are provided. The best is strong water pressure. There is a hair dryer. Basic breakfast but filling. There is nasi lemak, fried noodles, chicken sausage, toast, fruit, omelette, coffee, tea & juice. There is an elevator. Friendly to seniors & children. The best budget hotel. Repeat? Definitely!

Nice hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast does not have many varieties, but the food tastes good. Good location with lots of eateries outside the hotel. Our next trip will definitely be spent in this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mio Boutique Hotel Melaka. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a hairdryer provided. Sevel is next door. The breakfast buffet is delicious. There are many restaurants nearby. It's about a 1.3 km walk to Jonker Street, or you can take a Grab ride for about 7 Ringgit. You can jog in front of the hotel in the morning along the Melaka River.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is also nice, complete with all the amenities. The food is also delicious. It's actually close to Jonker Street on foot. Recommended for a stay, especially with children. Check-in was also fast.

The hotel is strategically located next to 7/11 and a local mini market, and there are many halal restaurants around, so it's easy to get food. There's also a 24-hour laundromat nearby, making it easier for tourists. The hotel restaurant was quite busy at breakfast time. Unfortunately, the food was replenished too slowly.

The room was clean and pleasant, the pillows, mattress, water heater, and AC were very good, check in and out were very fast and the staff were very friendly.

The room is spotless, immaculate, neat and fresh but not soundproof. The staff was friendly and polite.

It was a pleasant stay here, the hotel room was clean, the location was strategic, next to the hotel there was a 7-Eleven, Speedmart, and also a 24-hour restaurant, close to the Eye of Malacca. The breakfast was perhaps a bit lacking, not in terms of taste, but in terms of variety. The 2 days I stayed the menu didn't change, only nasi lemak, white bread, noodles, chicken sausage, tea, coffee, and fruit. I saw some reviews about breakfast showing the same photos even though they were in different months... of course if you stay 3 days you will get bored with the breakfast menu... this is just input 😊

I took a triple room, which was quite spacious, and had a prayer area. Next to the hotel was a minimarket and a 7-Eleven. A short walk across the river was where the tour boats could be found.

The hotel staff is quite friendly and explains things well, the location is close to 24-hour eateries and grocery stores and laundry.

next door so noisy slam door several times.. air conditioner was very good condition.

Pros: * Location is great. * A lot of food options nearby (local restaurants, 7/11, 99 Speedmart, etc.) * It is located near a mall which has an indoor playground. * It has laundry nearby so you can wash your clothes there and no need to bring dirty clothes home. * Walking distance to tourist spots. Cons: * Limited parking space. * Small Room Size. Overall, if you are looking for a place with a fair budget, this is highly recommended
