I was lucky enough to have the room in the tower (I think it’s described as the Premium Double) which was excellent. It had a private terrace with impressive views of Cádiz, and was perfectly quiet and extremely comfortable. (Just a note for those with mobility issues: the lift will take you as far as the third floor, but there’s a further flight of stairs to reach room 41 - so a different room might suit some people better)). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Cánovas again if I ever return to Cádiz.

The stay was wonderful. The room was clean and supplied with water. The hotel had a roof top veranda which was great to hang out in the morning and evening. It was close to restaurants and sites. Very nice hotel, would definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately I was sick during much of my stay in Cadiz but the hotel staff and restaurant ensured I had everything I needed to recover, which was especially appreciated as I was travelling alone. I hope to return some day to share this wonderful hotel and restaurant with my family. Thank you for your kindness.

Great hotel in a great spot near to everything that’s going on. A 5 minute walk to the market and some fabulous restaurants nearby.

This is a perfect boutique hotel. Now my favorite for sure. Pristine clean, the rooms are elegantly arranged and super comfortable. Awesome location central to everything. Restaurant for breakfast served until noon (great for us who like relaxing in the morning). We loved it so much we decided tp stay an extra day and moved to their funky premium suite with a gorgeous terrace. Cant wait to return to Cadiz and visit again.

Super helpful and friendly set I

We never write reviews but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to compliment Casa Canovas. From the moment we arrived Fernando was so helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated with tasteful decor, incredibly clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and the beds were heavenly. The property is located very centrally and has an amazing restaurant that we’d highly recommend.

Stayed at Hotel Canovas for three nights on a chill-out trip with a childhood friend. It was a beautiful room in a lovely little street in Cadiz. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were lovely. We left considerably more relaxed than we came in, and enjoyed wandering the streets around the hotel.

Best location, quiet, friendly helpful staff. They also have a Fantastic Italian restaurant, bar, & breakfast option! Definitely charming and one of the best boutique hotels in Spain! We Highly recommend it!
