Lovely stay. Room was beautiful and very clean. Very quiet even though about a pub. Would stay again

A superb experience from the lovely warm welcome on arrival, to the tasteful furnishings, large room with wide range of courtesy teas, coffees, biscuits and little fridge. The ensuite is spacious and has a gorgeous multi- shower. The superbly comfortable bed and "quiet time" meant a peaceful and deep night's sleep. The menu offers extensive food choices to suit every taste. The appearance is well cared for and inviting, dripping with healthy happy profusions of flowers despite the heat and lack of rain! An oasis in a very convenient central location for access to all parts of Anglesey. I loved it as it still retains the beauty of Welsh culture and the wonder of Anglesey, away from the rowdy hoards that sadly have taken over and destroyed the charm of some other parts. The staff were very kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast menu has huge choice and even fresh watermelon! My dog was spoilt rotten, was offered a sausage for breakfast. She loved the special tubs of chicken sausages treats. A hidden gem of a place!!! Way beyond anything I'd hoped it might be!

A great place to stay. Mark, Claire and the team were really welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. The room had everything we could need for our three-night stay, the breakfast menu was varied and the perfect portion size. We had dinner on the Sunday evening, choosing the Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. We had drinks in the outdoor pods one evening, great to be able to sit outdoors with the pod for protection whatever the weather. We didn’t need to use them but great that the pub had EV chargers, everything had been thought of. We definitely plan to return.

Really lovely place. Accommodated our horribly late arrival. Wish we had had time for breakfast but room was spot on and incredibly comfortable.

Bed and breakfast was great, the staff were lovely. There were lots of little touches in the room for example, decent coffee sachets and the breakfast consisted of many cooked choices + cereals, yoghurt and fruit etc. The room was very clean and the shower was good. The only slight negative was the location as there wasn’t much around and after our dinner reservation was cancelled (chef was ill I think) we had to try and find somewhere else to eat which required driving to get there. Couldn’t be helped though and the owner made sure I knew well in advance. Just make sure you have a plan B for dinner.

Lovely staff and accommodations

A nice find. Very good condition and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Great choice on inclusive breakfast. Evening menu tasty, hot and large. Good value for money overall. Will visit again and bring Motorhome and use their pitches.

Overnight stay, book for a 30th birthday present for my daughter.

Our first time staying here. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the heads up on A55 problems and that there was a silent fan in our comfortable bedroom on one of the warmest days of the year. The evening meal and breakfast were very good too. We will be back.

Super comfortable stay, very clean and well thought out with large mirrors and good lighting for getting ready. Breakfast was great quality food, well cooked and presented nicely. Staff were all very friendly throughout our stay. Thank you. Great value for money too.

Food - tasty great menu with lots of choice and affordable. Staff - helpful, professional and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. Room - comfortable, tidy and well serviced. A very enjoyable stay - top marks all round.

Whilst the room was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly, the shower in our room was unbearably hot. I scalded my feet whilst attempting to turn the temperature down. Now I know how lobsters and crabs feel!!! For dinner I orderered leek and potato soup. It tasted unlike any leek and potato soup I've ever eaten - sour, as if a lot of lemon juice had been added. I sent it and ordered arancini on a bed of squished tomatoes. Once again, it was very sour tasting. I didn't mention it as the kitchen had closed at 8pm!!! My husband's pie was excellent. The breakfast was fine and my husband had no complaints about it. I only ever have toast. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I will return if the hot water situation is resolved. Maybe I'll eat elsewhere

A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!
