Staff friendly, breakfast good, rooms are new and comfortable. Not a luxury hotel but excellent for mid tier type.

Very clean and great facilities and location

Loved Hotel Matts so much! Highly recommend. Stayed in the Apartment side and it was wonderful, so spacious, so quiet, but also felt like home because you have a kitchen and laundry. The room was spotless, staff was lovely, and the on site restaurant Freja was so amazing. We ate there almost every night our last week and it was consistently so good. The apartment side is like having an Airbnb but much better because you get the perks of staying in a hotel, like 24 hour staff, onsite restaurant, and sauna. I extended my stay multiple times, and each time, the staff had my keys ready to go with a smile. It was really nice because in most hotels there's always a huge disconnect with extending the room, so I greatly appreciated their efforts. They even left a handwritten birthday card for me in my room when I arrived. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking at somewhere really nice to stay in Espoo, especially the proximity to the mall, Iso Omena, is so convenient to get groceries and go shopping. The only negative was the bed pillows. They are really not up to hotel standard and should be replaced with a higher quality pillow. But other than that, I cannot recommend Hotel Matts enough.

Stayed in the long-term apartment style rooms. Helsinki was going through a heat wave and there is NO A/C in the rooms. The balconies also face south, so they get hot and the windows open over the balcony so you get hot air coming through. This is not a complaint but a heads up for the issue if you are going in the summer time. Rooms were EXCELLENT. In-room washer/dryer, great kitchenette, included breakfast every day saved us thinking about one meal in the day. Love this place and would stay there again. Front desk manager was an excellent resource when we had a trip interruption due to a health issue.

Consistently excellent

Really comfortable bed, great friendly staff especially bar staff and reception. Excellent food, ate in restaurant and breakfast buffet. We were on holiday but visiting family so handy to get to the beach.

A very clean hotel with nice breakfast. The entrance to the underground parking is a bit difficult to find but it's very convenient. The hotel only provides air conditioning to the hotel rooms and not the apartments. Windows could not be opened. That was the biggest down side of this hotel. Otherwise, it was one of the better hotels than others we had experienced in Finland.

Had the best breakfast buffet I've seen at a hotel. Very clean. Very comfortable.

I have stayed a number of times and enjoyed my time. Flow of Information could be better. We arrived to be told that the Restaurant and Bar were closed for the entire evening. I think that if this happens info should be available at the time of trying to book.

Excellent location as its just NEXT to the metro. The restaurant is very good. Good buffet breakfast also!

Super comfy bed, huge power shower, spotlessly clean, great staff and great breakfast.

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and it was amazing. Very comfortable and the cherry on the icing was that we had our own private sauna.

Apartment was perfect for our family stay. Great breakfast, next door to metro and a mall with lots of food and shopping. Comfortable beds.
