Older hotel, but staff is really trying to make it hip. Had free ice cream one night, and a free barbecue to celebrate Canada Day. Great location. Our room was surprisingly larger than expected.

Lovely place to stay. The pool was nice. Close to the beach and 15ish minute walk to downtown. There were a lot of families with small children when I stayed that were loud and it echoed in the courtyard/pool area. As my room was so close to the pool it made escaping the chaos a bit tough. Overall great stay, would come again

It is a very welcoming place, our second time here and we'll be back. The pool and outdoor patio area feel recently upgraded.

Had a family reunion booked at the hotel the pool area combined with their outdoor cooking area was an amazing surprise. The locations proximity to the boardwalk along the lake was a definite bonus.Great experience will definitely book again if in the area.

Great value for the money. Beds were comfortable, lots of space, enjoyed having the kitchen to cook. Great location. Definitely recommend.

Room was ok - very clean. Heater in bathroom would not turn off - had to keep the door closed so the room stayed a bit cool for sleeping. Reported it when checking out.

Its a great place to stay. Walking distance to the beach. Rooms are decent and pricing is fair. Staff was very helpful.

Was hard to figure out the heat! Old school set up. Tiny tvs but at least I got quiet. Excellent customer service!

Comfy bed.

The room was large and we liked that it had two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in a separate little area. It was well lit and had charging plug ins for phones, etc.

Flexible check-in and great accommodation for the value with all needed amenities, room was clean and nice location near the beach and South Okanagan Events Center.

The Bowmont motel offers a prime, convenient location along Lakeshore Drive walking distance to shopping, restaurants, fitness facilities, Cheland centre and Vee’s hockey. Close to golf as well. Motel has comfortable beds and bedding. However, requires significant maintenance, including updates to paint and flooring. Housekeeping is minimal and lack of thorough cleaning (no mops or vacuums seen) and mismatched furniture / second hand like furnishings. While retro charm may appeal to some. The facility requires better upkeep to blend its convenient location with a comfortable clean experience.
