Decent gym

The Moxy brand hotels is a always a great choice, no matter where in the world you are. When traveling, it's always nice to recognize the vibe that connects all the Moxy's. Check in at the bar is always fun, a free signature cocktail is such a nice touch and the rooms are always roomy enough with just the right amount of touches. Our bed was comfy, shower and restroom combo convenient. I appreciate the mini fridge and hot water kettle. The location in Kyoto is away from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto, but surrounded by so many great non touristy restaurants, shops and bars. The Nijo Station is a block away and takes you pretty much anywhere you need to go, which is so convenient. When sitting at the bar, just make sure you shout the standard Japanese "Sumimasen" to get their attention. You can tell the staff takes pride in their work. They offer a restaurant and quick eats at all hours which is so convenient. This location is wedged between a Family Mart and 7-11, so you're never without food and drinks. I love Moxy, they make it easy.

Room was super clean, lovely to have walk in shower. Cleverly they make best use of the space with inventive storage. Staff are super helpful and the lounge/bar area is great.

We love Moxy hotels and stay in them all over the world. They are cool, hip and very modern concept of Marriot hotels. There is always great vibe and superb cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Anne great bars in lobbies and yummy healthy food options available. Hope Moxy won’t disappoint in future 😉

Everything was great, including staff

Trendy hotel, near the train station and castle. Room was small but comfortable and had plenty of smart storage.

Clean and spacious room, good location walking distance to the station. The breakfast was just okay but definitely could be better.

TV did not stay connected for more than 40 minutes then refuses to reconnect afterwards terrible system other than that amazing room.

Excellent choice for visiting Kyoto Close to Nijo station and very quiet location away from all the hustle and bustle around Kyoto station
