Great place I've stayed twice and loved both times!

Good hotel

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and quite comfortable for it being small. There was lots of storage and places to put things so it made it feel bigger in the room. The only issue I had was that the room was not cleaned when we left for the day. We had to call and ask them everyday when we came back in the afternoons. They would mostly clean up the bathrooms quickly and bring us new towels and make the bed which only took 5-10 minutes.

Great hub for Kyoto - outside the main areas but convenient for JR line and subway. Walking distance to castle

We had a great stay at the Moxy! Close proximity to public transit and several restaurants/shops. Hotel was very chic and clean. Bar was open 24hrs which was so nice, bar tenders were super fun and had lots of local recommendations. Highly recommend, would stay again!

Nice standard hotel for a short stay. Clean rooms with good amenities, though rooms are small. Also nice bar area with good food and drinks.

Moxy was clean, very welcoming and comfortable and affordable! I loved all the amenities they had for kids and the fabulous bar too. Highly recommend!
