El hotel está en una de las mejores ubicaciones para disfrutar la gran vista hacia Taxco; puedes ver Santa Prisca, el atardecer y las luces de noche. Además, el hotel es hermoso, los cuartos son espectactulares, espaciosos y con una gran distribución. Pero sobre todas las cosas, el personal nos hizo sentir como si fuéramos los únicos huéspedes ahí, atendiendo puntualmente cada necesidad, con la mejor actitud posible.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas. Service was enthusiastic and professional. The room and private jacuzzi were beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

El lugar es muy lindo y el personal es increíblemente amable y servicial. El mantenimiento del hotel deja algo que desear. No hay conector de luz en el tocador del baño y el techo del jacuzzi estaba resanado sin pintar, no lo que se espera de un lugar spa boutique. Otro asunto es que se quedó abierta la llave del jacuzzi y el agua que se salió del jacuzzi por la coladera les acabó inundando toda la cocina por lo que me cobraron una multa por mal uso de instalaciones. Entiendo el error de nuestra parte pero la coladera debería funcionar, las filtraciones a la cocina no son mi problema. Y por otro lado alguien podría haber avisado antes de que se hiciera un caos. Aun así pagué sin protestar por que me dio pena que el hotel estaba vacío. Finalmente, si estaban vacíos sin reservaciones, un upgrade a la habitación siguiente superior hubiera sido un detalle muy apreciado. Así hacen en la mayoría de los lugares y eso genera lealtad. Lo mejor de este lugar fue la gente. Todos increíble actitud.

The room and the place was beautiful.

Absolutely professional service by all the staff especially front desk when we ran into some booking errors (on our end) which was resolved quickly. The views are beautiful. Little walk with the road and you can enjoy a little gondola ride down the mountain. Super cute. Can’t wait to go back.

Great place to enjoy Taxco beautiful landscape! Rooms are very well equipped and nice. Service level is very good, particularly the restaurant team. Food is also very good. Ask for the delicious chilaquiles with cecina!

De Cantera y Plata is a small boutique hotel with only nine rooms on top of a hill overlooking Taxco. The views are stunning. Our room was very spacious with a view to the garden and the golf course green next to the hotel. The service at the hotel and restaurant was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel and would venture to guess it's the nicest hotel in Taxco.

Overall we had an excellent experience. Just a few things they could improve. I didn’t like the rustic jacuzzi in the terrace. Next time I would book a regular room, not the suite with jacuzzi. The curtains do not block out light completely so at 7am you have daylight in the room. No hairdryer in the room. No drawers to accommodate clothes. Restaurant and bar close at 10pm. If you want to stay up late and have a drink ... not possible. I think they fall short on staff .. just one waiter for breakfast. Everything else extraordinary!!! We would definitely stay there again !!!

it is about the fifth's time that a come to this beautiful hotel and it is always the same. Just great and I recommend it to all my friends as well as to everybody. It is the best hotel around the entire area and you will never regret to go there.

Hotel is beautiful, but service was bad. There was no spa, all massage are at your room. Restaurante was closed for lunch and dinner, pillows really flat and when order room service couldn’t get an item because they perdón at night didn’t know the prices. For the price of the rooms it is WAY over CHARGE! They have a lot to improve.
