Property was located within 10-15 of Piccadilly Circus and Chinatown which was convenient. The metro was about a 5-10 minute walk. However, the building has no elevator. We asked for fresh towels since our stay was five days and were told they only replenish after TWO weeks because "towels are expensive". But, we were welcome to wash our own towels if we liked. Toiletries were limited to a 3.5 oz bottle of body wash and shampoo, no hand soap. I would only recommend if you are looking for a room and nothing more. Oh, and pack your own toiletries beforehand.

Small room, good if planning to sight see and only be in room to sleep and shower. It is very small with minimal amenities. If in need of extra towels ask before coming because they will not bring more. The room is above 3 pubs. Can be crowded and noisy around the area. Once inside it was not loud at all with windows closed and ac on. The ac unit makes a buzzing sound when it switches on which can be slightly annoying. Overall it was a good room and place to stay for the price.

Excellent location - walkable and close to Temple station, and quiet at night. Check-in was easy and the room was perfect for our stay of a few nights. Would definitely book again!

Perfect location as a base camp to go to all the historic sites. Five minute walk to the tube station. Five minute walk to the Thames. Many pubs, restaurants, and shopping nearby. The pod is roomy and the bathroom is modern and clean. The communal kitchen is well appointed. The only downside to our stay is the 2-3 pubs below. They are noisy with patrons on weeknights until well after midnight. Even with windows closed it is very distracting.

Mattress was uncomfortable with springs sticking up. Above pub so some related noise and smell. Ironing board broken and took one day to replace. Bathroom modern and clean. Electric shower but good pressure. Had an issue as an internal door locked and would not give me access. Had to call and was difficult to reach someone. Then had to wait in the hallway eventually someone else let me in but I did not get any follow-up to check I was in or okay. Not ideal after a long day.

Everything was so good. Clean flat, great location, safe neighbourhood. Just one thing ; we could not open any window in the flat. I recommend this hotel, I would stay again.

The room was very basic with cheap towels moderate in size, no kettle in the room although there was a communal one in the kitchen up stairs. On arrival the shower was broken but at least it was repaired during our stay. A couple of the slats in the blind were broken. The mattress felt as though it had seen a lot of service! The pub below is very noisy especially as many of the drinkers spill out onto the road. it was noisy from mid day until 23.00. Plus points are a great location, the use of a communal kitchen and it was perfectly clean.

This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a hotel property. When I arrived in the afternoon the AC was off and room was stuffy so I turned the AC and left to explore the city. When I returned to the room at night I found the air damp and the bedding was completely damp, sheets and pillowcases all wet to the touch! It was so uncomfortable and stressful to sleep in a wet bed after a long flight and full day of exploring. I thought the issue was maybe the AC so I left it off the following day and saw improvement but the room and bedding was still not completely dry. By the third day of discontinued AC use the room had finally dried out. Because of this I could not use the AC and I was staying when temperatures were high 70s so it was not pleasant. I tired to contact the hotel but the contact email they had posted to the inside of the room did not work - mail bounced back. Other issues I encountered were black mold spots throughout the bathroom, the shower head was broken and tied with a string, and the window lock was broken so literally ANYONE could have entered the room which left me scared at night and worried during the day that my possessions might not be there when I get back. I had a contact, Simona, who I have been reaching out to about all these issues but have no received any type of compensation for the inadequacies of this room. I stayed in Pod 2, for anyone wondering which room this was. Hotels.com has been completely useless in helping me deal with this mess

Location was as expected. However, staff refused to accommodate us over a 5 night period with regards to air conditioning. We booked this place with AC in mind seeing as how it is the summer. Staff claimed that the AC was broken from night number 1 and seemingly did nothing to fix it, resulting in less than satisfactory sleeping conditions. Staff then claimed they would provide a refund in order to avoid a negative review. No discount has been received and they have since stopped responding to our requests. This said, makes us feel like this is a sham of an operation. Again, location was fine but that’s about it.

Very close to the Underground and an easy walk to most of the sights of London. Not big rooms, but ok for a couple of nights. Good value for money.

Very convenient location right next to Temple tube station. Lots of coffee shops nearby. The room (Chamber 3) is fine, except the building and room gets very stuffy and warm even in springtime. The air conditioning unit was not blowing cold air, and the fan mode was only blowing warm air, so we had to keep the windows open when we were in the room which subjected us to the loud noise and conversations of the Devereux pub and constant slamming noises. We had to wear noise canceling headphones in the room at night until the pub was empty I messaged the staff about the A/C issue on the first night. The staff took a couple days to respond to my request about the A/C, and then never ended up sending anyone to fix it even after saying they would. They also said that I had already left them a bad review before giving them a chance to rectify, which is untrue. What I did was respond to a request for initial feedback from Expedia, which is not the same as leaving a public review. This is the first time I'm leaving a review -- after checking out. It feels like they used that as a reason to not expend much effort to help out with the A/C issue. All-in-all I can only recommend this room if you're comfortable sleeping with a lot of loud noise or you don't mind a warm, humid room. I'm disappointed with the customer service experience given the positive reviews on here about the service they received. It seems like we were mistreated when they thought I left an early review when I didn't.

The property is a short walk from a train station and multiple bus stops. Lots of restaurants in the area. Only complaint about the property was the water pressure was extremely low. Pull out couch was slightly uncomfortable but not too bad. Overall would recommend this property for a family of 4 comfortably for s couple weeks!

Clean spacious room with everything you need. Location was good, though above a pub, so quite noisy at times. Great communication from the hotel (all non-contact) and a decent price. Only negatives - a "glitchy" tv and very low-flow shower
