The room was nice and clean with a bit of a view. The staff were friendly but we had a long wait just to order food. We felt a little ignored.

Beautiful hotel chateau, Excellent facilities and great dining at sensible prices. Jerry the sommelier gave a great wine tasting and was a star in our stay.

The restaurant must be highly recommended.

Lovely small hotel, swimming pool closed and bar closed at 1800. Had to go to a local bar for evening meal.

Nice clean hotel in the centre of the village. WiFi available in the rooms but not very strong. Friendly service and some amazing views.

Hotel was comfortable, if old, but in a beautiful location, staff were very helpful, particularly the guy on reception, who found us a room at a good price, even though the booking had not been correctly made. Food was good, beds were comfortable, but the stairs to the second floor were a bit steep, and rickety, and the room on the second floor, without air conditioning, was unbearable during the night. Breakfast was nothing special, but we had no time to look elsewhere. Would definitely stay again, in spite of these minor niggles.

On the internet booking in was from 2pm. We couldn't actually get into the hotel until 5pm! Then they said the booking hadn't been made! However, they did find us a room, and honoured the price we had with Hotels.com, which we appreciated. Note to Hotels.com, please ensure that book in details are correct, and that the booking has actually been made! It could have been disastrous for us. Hotel was in perfect location in the town, staff very accommodating, pretty town. But no air conditioning in the room, which in the height of summer made being in the room very uncomfortable. Everything was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again

The hotel was of a very good standard. The bedding was pristine. Dinner in the restaurant was the best we had during our 8 day tour of Burgundy. The service was impeccable.

nice place, easy to find and they kept the restaurant open for me on a warm summer night. inter is great in the lobby but not so much in the room...no air conditioning but the night was cool enough and the street quiet enough that it was not an issue

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec un accueil très chaleureux et très prévenant. Chambre impeccable, literie au top. La piscine très agréable après une journée de balade. Nous recommandons vivement !

De passage dans le Morvan nous voulions absolument dormir au Vieux Morvan, cette institution historique. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. La vue de la chambre 15 (celle de l'ancien président Mitterrand, qui se réserve a la demande) sur les monts du Morvan est superbe. La pièce est fonctionnelle. Réservez au restaurant en demandant une table avec vue. On y mange très bien. Tout le personnel est très gentil, à l'hôtel comme au restaurant.

Good bedding, limited toilet space, historic carpet, pool closed by the owner at 6:45 PM..!! Disappointing value for money. In one word: outdated. Literie confortable, espace toilettes rikiki, moquette historique Piscine fermée par le patron à 18H45 En 1 mot : vieillot … l’esprit de François s’en est allé ;-)

Rien à dire en ce qui concerne les lieux et la chambre En revanche, très déçu de l'accueil, de la gestion et des frais supplémentaires. On m a demandé de partir de la chambre à 11h, alors que j'étais en RDV téléphonique. L'hôtel stipule pourtant bien départ à 12H !!! N'ayant pas de machine à café dans la chambre, ni même de stick soluble, j'ai eu le malheur de demander un café à la "machine" en bas. On m'a empressé de me le facturer 4€ ! On est sur un prix excessif ... avec un gout d'eau. Expérience dommage en ce qui me concerne, en espérant que d'autres en aient une meilleure !

Un bon accueil, chambre qui respire la propreté. Nous avons également dîner. Repas excellent par un service très attentif à notre bien être. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement. Seul bémol…pas d’ascenseur.

Ouderwets maar schoon Geen lift, terwijl het lopen met bagage over het trappenhuis een grote opgave is. Restaurant karig qua kaart maar kwaliteit boven verwachting. Ontbijt sober. Parkeren matig. Kamer gewisseld vanwege onvoldoende hoogte en weinig daglichttoetteding.
