Stayed alone, size was adequate for me large bed. Breakfast options were nice too. Room might be slightly small for a couple.

Hipster's heaven with things like I-pad controlling everything in the room. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and patient with this 70 year old dog learning new tricks. Unfortunately the hot water was broken and no breakfast my first day. No matter how much money you spend on renovations & creating hipness, you have to cover the basics like back-up hot water system and a simple hot water tank for your kitchen.

People were great. Room was tiny and we couldn't shower. Breakfast was "included" but no breakfast.

Safe neighborhood 1 block from the trolley. We walked everywhere (less than one hour to Fisherman’s wharf and baseball park)

Great location and amenities

Really liked that citizenM was an escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Chill and calm, lovely bar to sit at, love the rooms, bed is super comfortable, staff very friendly, and will visit again!

The hotel was amazing, cool, trendy rooms, perfect for 2 of us, staff were fantastic & the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do

Overall, great experience! Only downside was that our bathroom door didn't completely close (it closed most of the way, with a small gap). We had to hold the door with our hands to shut the door close. Everything else was great. Clean and staff were polite and helpful. I would try staying at other CitizenM hotels in other cities.

Great hotel! It was my first time in SF and the location was perfect to getting to all the main sites. Staff at hotel was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable stay. I really appreciated the innovation with tying all of the room's control's to the iPad. Would highly recommend this hotel and would re-book if I pass through again.

Clean room & great location.

Super friendly staff, clean and modern room. Beautiful lobby area with plenty of seating and work areas. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options, and my chilled Americano hit the spot every morning. Will be staying here again, and plan on staying at the Miami location next month.

The vibe of the hotel was perfect and the staff were fantastic. The staff were so friendly and always happy to help. We got some great recommendations from them on were to visit/eat during our stay. A special thanks to Fernie who was great during check in and throughout our stay

Extremely tiny room, very noisy outside on streets and hotel. Got awaken at 5am from pipe noises. Had to leave early due to poor sleep and didn’t refund me.

It was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and the place was clean and very cool. Chris/Riser checked us in and he made sure we had a great room asked if we’d rather be up high or on a lower floor and gave us free drink vouchers! Amazing staff amazing building very secure there’s a parking garage right next to it as well that is not very expensive but also very safe and secure. Absolutely would stay again.

Nice hotel, clean, convenient location, transportation nearby. The immediate area of the hotel feels safe, but walk two or three blocks toward the Tenderloin area, and all bets are off. Witnessed a homeless guy punch a woman in the head for no apparent reason. The walls are thin, and noisy cleaning staff.
