The staff were good, the location was brilliant, the food was good. The reason the review didn't get five stars was because the walls in the room are paper thin and we could hear the conversation the room next door was having till late every evening, and when they woke up very early in the morning because they woke us up. As important as the staff, the food and the location is, a primary function of the room is to give you a good night's sleep. Unfortunately it was very hard at this hotel.

room was comfortable. The stay includes dinner and breakfast, buffet style, were excellent, a lot of choices and proteins cooked very well (fish, beef, and pork). Hotels in TDP were expensive, Hotel del Paine probably has the best value. Would stay here again.

The friendly staff, phenomenal views, nature vibes (pups, horses, solar panels, zero waste philosophy) all meshed so well with the truly spectacular environment to create a wonderful experience. Felt lucky to be staying there, about an hours scenic drive to Torres trailhead and only 20 minutes or so to Condor Lookout (cool shorter hike!). Lacked time to explore more but there are tons of closer trails and activities available. Highly recommend! Amazing food!

Great place to stay at while visiting Torres del Paine NP. Can’t beat the view! Good food served for breakfast and dinner. Maybe a small fridge would be necessary in the room, at least for the summer days.

When staying in this area, you have to manage expectations. The Villa Serrano area exists to host travelers closer to Torres del Paine than Puerto Natales, cutting off an hour of travel each way into the park. Hotel del Paine has basic rooms—small, not much room to store close or equipment (no drawers, hooks, shelf space, etc—but the bed was really comfy, the room is warm, the bathroom very clean. No wifi in the rooms, but it screams in the lodge. Good meals, outstanding views of Cuernos. Fantastic staff! Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we were disappointed with this stay, though there were some highlights. We booked there because it had a pretty high rating, but the reality did not match the rating. The property was beautiful. It was on the water and the scenery was gorgeous. However, the room was subpar. We were in the lodge building at the end of the driveway, and the walls were paper-thin. We could hear everything going on in every room in the building. Also, the shower was very difficult to use, even dangerous; the lighting wasn’t very good; and the bathroom supplies were inadequate and/or inoperable. The rooms do not have wifi, and there is no cellular Internet in the area. Also, there is no pool or hot tub, in spite of the description. On the positive side, most of the food that was provided, including dinner and the box lunches that we purchased for our day treks, was really delicious, even though the attention to detail on the service was a little spotty.

This was truly a gem of a hotel with incredible views surpassed only by their staff and service. Where do I start? The location and views from the hotel property and our room were magnificent of the mountains and the river. The staff were exemplary and this was the perfect location to celebrate our anniversary. Paula who checked us in and made us comfortable ; Miguel, Christian, Raissa and Francesca in the bar and dining area; Cesar and the superwoman Yvonne who made sure our excursions were booked at the last minute and went above and beyond to check that we had a great time; Rafaela who is an exemplary chef and made the dinner buffet outstanding with varieties of every type of food and the food a work of art . The dessert chef was a master at his game and every dessert was mouthwatering ( we ate too much at meals here ) I highly recommend this for a stay just outside the park entrance because it feels like home in it's comfort with the best meals and the most amazing staff . Yvonne and Cesar made sure to guide us to ensure that we enjoyed this slice of heaven in Patagonia to the fullest. There was Wifi only in the main building which made it hard to plan from the room but allowed us to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the grandeur of the park

Beautiful cabins and kind staff, but not the ideal place for solo travel or without renting a car. The place is far from the airport, like one hour and 20 minutes in car. No tour online will pick you up from there. All pick ups are from puerto natales, and that area has nothing close to public transportation, so your last resource is either to pay for the tours offered by the hotel or pay 300 USD in transportation per day. Not cheap at all. I paid more than 800 USD for 3 different tours, honestly the most expensive tours I have ever paid, and I travel a lot. No wifi in the cabins, only in front desk area. If you are vegan or vegetarian and didn't notify the hotel in advanced, be prepared to eat rice, soup or quinoa only
