Lovely location in centre of the old town next to the cathedral and near the river, cafes and shops. Easy to drop off bags, check in and then park nearby. Comfy bed in beautiful traditional room. Good range of continental breakfast foods available at the breakfast buffet. Nice, friendly staff. We stayed here overnight on our way to Salzburg...perfect midpoint stop-off.

The hotel itself is a great location, charming, well kept. Room darling decor, spacious, charming and clean. Hotel oozed Parisian charm. The view of cathedral fantastic but roadside very noisy and room stuffy, AC did not work well. Parking a disaster, consumed the entire experience. The reviews on hotel are accurate except the parking. It’s a parking garage, 1/2 mile over bridge from hotel and you must have a mini car to fit in garage. Or there is parking at cathedral, use EXTREME caution and do not deal with the fake parking attendants, they are there to scam money and steal your car. Because of the parking we never got to see an any sites, we counted ourselves lucky just to escape. Too much to share on this review but watch your back when visiting Metz, everyone knows everyone, they act helpful while they’re robbing you. It’s not the hotel’s fault that our experience was that Metz is a mess. Also, Verdun is about an hour from Metz.

A must stay! The location is central, and it's proximity to Le Cathédrale Saint-Etienne de Metz is unparalleled. The view from the room of the cathedral is stunning, as is listening to the bells chime. The staff was convivial and accommodating - everything about my stay was wonderful! Bonus: the water pressure of the shower is the best in France!!

The room was historically, with its exposed beams. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, though not included in the reservation, was well worth the price. The off site parking was a very short distance away and was a pleasant walk. If I ever find myself in Metz again, I know where I am staying.

Lovely staff. Extremely helpful. Carried my bag up 3 flights of stairs and then moved me to the first floor to help me. Highly recommend this lovely hotel in a prime location.

Misrepresented, old rundown building with no elevator, no parking and annex with no 24 hr security just a code to open the door

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful hotel as it was well worth a return visit. It is located directly opposite the fabulous Cathedral and the decor is like Louis XlV - so lavish. It is ideal for visiting the lndoor Market and quaint little pubs round about. Love it!

This hotel is located in the heart if the city. The staff were awesome. Old city charm and newer upgrades. There is not an elevator so be prepared for stairs. We would stay again.

I enjoyed the stay however they didn't give me any information on Wi-Fi (until I had to ask.. he just put the PW in my cell🙄) and it was a bit musty in the room.
