Nice people at the front desk. Within walking distance of the Cathedral. Ask for a back room for more quiet.

Great location. Comfortable room. Needs some improvements on shower doors to avoid water leaking out.

Considering the price of $85 Cdn per night, safe, clean, great and friendly front desk services, close to restaurants, shopping, tour pick up, 2 blocks from the central square, it was excellent. Only draw backs were the uncomfortable bed and the loud music being played to all hours of the nights on Fridays and Saturdays in the lane below.

Room and staff was ok, however I booked the room 4 months before my trip on Expedia at $38 per night including taxes and fees. When I showed up, the hotel charge me the taxes and fees on top of the $38 that Expedia advertised making it $52 per night. The hotel also don’t charge me the market rate, at that time it was $12.89 pesos for 1 canadian dollar. Their rate was $11.28 per 1 Canadian dollar. And of course you don’t really have choice but to pay since you are already there. just saying 😠

My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. A wonderful and intimate experience. Extremely friendly and helpful personnel at the front desk. They helped us with everything, including getting a taxi at the break of dawn. The morning we had to leave. I highly recommend this Hotel. It is only one and a half blocks from the Zócalo. Excellent location and again, some of the friendliest people at the front desk we’ve ever met. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Mexico City.

Excellent hotel, great staff, laundry service, good internet! Excellent location... staying in the historic centre is the best you can do (people will sujest you to stay in Roma or Condesa, but the magic and fun is in the city centre). I stayed there with my partner, and we both recommend a Taco place near by: Taqueria 5 de mayo... excellent food (delicious tacos al pastor) a block and a half from the hotel. Also beside the Taco place another option for breakfast is Melon Limon... natural juices (freshly squeezed orange juice or mixes of fruits), very good sandwich or waffles *if you get tired of mexican food).

Spotless with a surprisingly comfortable bed for such a basic place. Great location for Mexico City's landmarks. For the low cost this place is amazing1

Everything with the hotel was excellent, the outside looks dirty but is the inside, and the location was perfect, very close to downtown or zocalo.

This is a real gem of a hotel. Recently refurbished, lovely clean rooms. Good internet (in my room) Most rooms are quiet and it has an elevator to get to the upper floors. There are tons of dining options and bars close by and it’s a stone throw form the Zocalo.
