Be sure to check tunnel charges during your stay. You may be better off staying in Torshavn rather than staying here and making multiple trips through the tunnels.

Good central location for touring around Faroe Islands. You definitely need a car. Easy free parking at the hotel or across the road if their car park is full. Rooms are small but fine, v cozy and comfortable. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast buffet. Walkable to several restaurants.

Me and my friend enjoyed our stay here, and would easily chose this hotel again for a second visit to Faroe. Conveniently located in the middle of the archipelago, in a town with at least a few dining options. Good parking opportunities (also a nearby overflow parking lot when it’s full in front of the hotel). The breakfast was good and the staff was excellent. Always friendly and helpful with whatever question we had.

Nice functional hotel 15 minutes from the main town. It has basic food but you can walk to other good food. Yiu can get there by bus but in general touring the island is way more convenient with a car.

Good location Hotel is clean and comfortable. There’s an elevator so no problem with carrying heavy luggage.

Rooms should have air conditioning as they can get extremely hot during the spring and summer.

Nice stay for a night or 2

Runavik is a small town of a couple of thousand people and this was definitely the best place to stay in town. It was modern, clean with good sizes rooms. But it was also limited - the restaurant only served sandwiches and burgers in the evening ( but the breakfast was excellent) and the TV only had a few channels, all in Danish. But it was well located, just yards from the tunnel entrance, was a short walks from a beautiful lake and had plentiful free car parking.

The room is very small in this hotel. There is no air conditioning in this hotel. Therefore, guests have to open the windows all night long during summertime. You may hear chickens being killed after midnight if your room is located behind the hotel.

Room and bathroom smelled very bad when you just get in. Also when I checked out staff tried to charged me one more time for the room stay amount, but there are good food in Hotel restaurant.

Der var knage der faldt ud når den blev brugt og et stort lappet hul i væggen. Lamperne havde en varm og en kold pærer i ved sengebordene. Men der var rent og personalet var hjælpsomme

Hotel Runavik er et rigtig hyggeligt sted. Venligt personale, rent på værelset og dejlig morgenmad. Det er et godt sted at køre ud fra . Vi har nydt vores ophold der. Kommer gerne igen. 🤗
