Breakfast was very crowded both days. Very limited number of tables and difficult to find staff to clear them so they could be used. Despite the do not disturb sign being on the door housekeeping tried twice to access the room and this was reported on checkout. There is no real ambiance in the lobby area for a drink etc.

We stayed here our last night in Ireland. The hotel is nice, but the area is a little sketchy. I think they are trying to revitalize the area. Breakfast was included and it was OK. We had a room with 2 queen beds and it happened to be a day that was in the 70s. We were on the 7th floor. When we arrived all of the curtains/shades were open and it was hot in the room. We called for a fan (which they brought), but said we wouldn't get the room to cool down much faster. It was fine by later in the night. Room was good size for 4 people. It is about a 8-10 minute walk to Temple Bar area.

Excellent location, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast included, which is a real bonus in Dublin. In line with its designation this is a ‘no frills’ hotel, everything required for a short stay but I wouldn’t necessarily want to stay for a longer period. My room was low down and at the back with a view of some machinery, possibly generators, which made it dark. This did mean that it was relatively quiet by central Dublin standards. Front or side facing rooms may get traffic and nightlife noise. Bedroom had all necessary facilities and was spotless but quite small. Adequate for me as a solo traveller but might be tight for two people. Other, higher category rooms are available and it might be worth paying for an upgrade if staying any length of time. While the breakfast is good, the evening bar menu is limited and I thought rather expensive.

It was a little difficult to figure out how to get in the place and it was another customer that told us how to use the key card to operate the elevator

The room had a filthy carpet that stunk. It made us sick. The maid and breakfast people were 10 stars. Tien Lee(sorry for the wrong spelling) was a 10 star professional. She always helped us. If you have allergies beware.

The hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk to many tourist attractions, pubs and restaurants. Close to public transport. Rooms are small. You have to ask for cleaning services and fresh towels if you need them - even though the staff tell you it will ‘happen everyday automatically’. We stayed four nights and the only time our room was cleaned proactively was on the day we were checking out - while we were at breakfast. The cleaner was not happy when we returned to our room. Don’t eat dinner at the hotel, the food is terrible.

Great breakfast and location. Easy walking distance to museums and restaurants. Mattress could’ve been better.

Hotel is very well located, everything walking distance. Reasonably good breakfast. Bed smaller than a king and if you are 6.1” and above will sleep with your feet out of the bed… Room is small, but functional. Pillows too thin and soft: we asked for additional to compensate. The worst is the carpets: corridors and in the room: dirty, stained, very bad impressions.

Great location not to far from many popular locations. Jameson, Christ Church or the Temple bar area. There are areas closer to the city center but this was a good choice for us.
