Excellent location. Lots of restaurants within few minutes walk . Very high temperatures in Stellenbosch but air conditioning in hotel very good. Staff very friendly and helpful and everything you need in room including microwave. Very good breakfast.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Room was well appointed and bed comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Included breakfast was good with a reasonable selection. Off street parking is great.

Wonderful stay, included a great breakfast also. My 1st floor room was very modern and even had a really nice patio area, perfect for enjoying some quiet time outside. Loved the stay and would definitely come back.

Real nice, modern hotel. Good amenities and nice roof top terrace to sit out in the sun. Good breakfast as well. Best bit - we arrived at 0900 hours ahead of a wine tour and were allowed to park and check in

This property is very secure in a nice part of town. There is an amazingly good coffee shop just opposite it - Plato - which had the best coffee in South Africa in my experience of ~30 places. The facilities are very good. The breakfast is just average, doesn't start until 0730, and has fairly average quality muesli etc, nothing warm. The coffee is a small automatic espresso machine - doesn't really compare with the magnificence of Plato which is opposite. I asked for my room to be serviced, and they just ignored the request which was via a sign on my door. It would be nice if there was more bottled water. The bed and bathroom were excellent. During load shedding there is no A/C, but power remains. My Internet was patchy during load shedding. People outside the hotel hassle you a bit for money.

Hotel Krige is by far one of the most convenient and comfortable places that we have stayed in when visiting Stellenbosch. So much so that we've decided this would be the place we stay at in the future. Friendly staff, convenient parking, clean surroundings and easy check-in thanks to the Hotels.com app. I can highly recommend this hotel. I would however like to recommend that the breakfast service be upgraded to possibly include a hot breakfast (English breakfast).

If you are booking a standard room - be careful. Bed is only big enough for one. Need to leave the key at reception or they won’t clean your room. Breakfast was terrible. No coffee or tea due to load shedding.

Our second stay. Very convenient for town, lovely staff, safe parking and modern. Will be back next January
